Krik Krak

Review: I signed a contract with [redacted] (owner of Krik Krak restaurant) to cater my wedding on August **, 2013. I was responsible for providing all materials for the bar (including alcohol, glasses, ice, champagne, liquor). [redacted] was responsible for the food, waitstaff, & clean up. [redacted] had actual knowledge that she was responsible for clean up not only from our numerous discussions but she was provided a copy of the catering hall's contract that specifically applied to outside caterers.Five days before my wedding [redacted] and [redacted] (her partner) breached our catering contract, demanded extra money from me or would refuse to cater my wedding. The day before the wedding [redacted] emailed me demanding extra money for services she contractually obligated to provide. At the wedding [redacted] did not serve the appetizers that we agreed upon, the bartenders did not mix the cocktails per instruction, AND the main entree was served cold and the black rice was disgusting. [redacted] did not pack a meal for myself and the groom to have after the wedding. She totally disregarded our agreement.The day after my wedding I learned that [redacted] and her staff refused to clean the kitchen after they used it (as agreed upon in the contract). As a result the catering hall kept 50% of my deposit. I also learned that [redacted] demeaned and yelled at the delivery staff who delivered my goods to the catering hall. A week after I returned from my honeymoon I learned that [redacted] and her waitstaff stole 40 champagne glasses, 2 ice scoopers, box of champagne (6), a bottle of Haitian rum, 5 glass pitchers, 40 champagne glasses, a wholesale jar of marschiano cherries, & 4 glass containers used to deliver the rum punch, & open bottles of champagne (all of this was provided to them). To date has [redacted] has refused to return any of my calls or emails and has refused to return my merchandise.Desired Settlement: I want a refund $420 (cleaning charge), $300 (the cost of the items stolen) $1605.83 (half of the contract fee for breach & bad faith), $74.14 (cost unreturned open bottles of alcohol and rum punch) for a total of $2400
