Incident Description: I placed order on Kristie Kreme.com for delivery and paid they sent confirmation and delivery information so I waited for about 45 minutes by my door I have surveillance and I can see outside my home. I had my phone at all times. They sent a message saying it was delivered and it wasn’t I called Krispy Kreme and they said it’s not their problem and that they hired Doorsash to deliver so it was up to me to resolve the issue. I called Doordasb and they said they had nothing with my information and I have screen shots. I called The manager at Krispy Kreme her name is V *** and she told me basically that I could not get refunded, and she was extremely rude at first, she said she could not send a replacement because the order was picked up by someone so this person pretending to be door dash is probably a criminal or some random person I do not know.Vanessa said that she honestly thinks they just kept it. I need the surveillance and I need to know who took them because they are breaking the law. Door dash said they delivered them and called me I have no calls from them and why would they say that if they do not have my information. I think The Krispy Kreme is responsible and should give me a full refund it was not my fault that they hired DoorDash or the wrong people or that they are handing out donuts to some random people who don’t even appear to be from door Dash. The manager could have easily replaced the product and sent door dash to deliver them but she said that that is not her problem that it is corporate who pays for the delivery. She was unapologetic until I told her I am a county worker and that I would report them to the DA and make a big stink about the situation. They only have these donuts for today and the manager knew she was going to close at 10 and didn’t want to deal with it. Very unprofessional and they basically stole my money and cause emotional distress. I do plan on pressing charges because the vendor they use are clearly stealing people’s $

We apologize for how this incident was handled. We have coached the manager on duty on how best to handle these kinds of incidents. We have taken additional steps by coaching the entire team management included on our policy which is, "to win guests not arguments".

Next, we have reached out to Yesenia Avila 3 times. On each time we have invited her back to our store for our good will gesture for 2 free dozens. We have also refunded her total cost of$20.32 as she requested, this was done on 3/6/20. Attached you will find the proof of refund.

The matter was resolved promptly by the management team. Again, we apologize for the way this incident was handled. We appreciate the feedback from our guests and from the Revdex.com as we are always looking for ways to improve our guest experience.
