Review: I purchased a used Cub Cadet riding mower on 6/15/13 for $350 for my son. I asked if the tractor could be run through the shop and checked out before we took it home because my son would be using it alot and I wanted to make sure there were no problems.I even told him that I would pay for the tractor to be checked out.They didn't charge me for it and I took it home on 6/25/13. Last week my son told me that the tractor was leaking oil so we took it to Krocks and were told it would cost $400 to fix but they'll only charge us $200. I called Krocks at 9:30am and spoke with the owner who was extremely rude and arrogant and told him no where on the invoice does it state sold as is and I even wrote on the invoice that I wanted it run thru the shop to make sure it had no safety hazards that would harm my son in any way.He My son paid for this tractor with his own money. I was told by the owner that the engine cracked after we bought it, how is that even possible when they told me they ran it thru the shop and it was fully checked out?? Krocks told me they only had to fix the on and off switch.If it was checked properly the crack in the engine would have been caught and fixed. I am just thankful that nothing happened to my son as a result of Krocks negligence never following our verbal agreement.I will never do business there again and I will make sure that no one else I know gets taken advantage of and ripped off.Desired Settlement: I would like the tractor fixed free of charge and inspected once again at no charge
