Complaint[redacted] APT. Complaint of management handling. I have been a resident of the [redacted] apt for one year.During my stay I have been harassed by the management staff and targeted/ accused for violating the nonsmoking policy. The accusations and manner of the bullied delivery of these accusations are unprofessional and unwarranted. Seems the staff without proof and only speculation is able to determine and as fines to tenants without written notification or recourse. The fine and in my case ultimate request for evection seem to be no more than a ploy to collect monies to supplement profits for multiple unleased units. I am an educated/ degreed professional and the treatment of the manager and staff has been poor, childish and the environment of the community pits its tenants to report one another for discounts on their rent. I will have to file suit against this property for many reasons. One the illegal evection, I have several documentations to discuss with my attorney in regards to the no proof accusation of smoking. Two, The harassing confrontations by three members of management in my dwelling unit (The remarks made to me by these individuals were harassing and confrontational but as they said "they have the witnesses" smart huh?).I also have concerns when property investors entered my apt which I was notified but never approved or signed any permission for pictures to be taken of my personal property within my unit. I was told in March 2015 I had a downtown unit vibe and the pictures were taken to show how a furnished unit looked. Three months later in May,I have been asked to move within three days because of allegations I was smoking in my apt with no proof or evidence even after the 24 hour inspection. I was however told by the manager that I had a lot of fragrance activity going on in my apt. I suppose that makes me guilty of a crime and insinuates that I indeed was smoking in my apt. Have any of you ever been blamed for something as an adult, knowing you did not do what your being accused of? When you adamantly deny your accuser your laughed at by them, questioned repeatedly like an interrogation , continually verbally beaten into an attempted submission or confession in the place of your own home? This is absurd for a professional person who works comes home keeps a clean place to have to deal with.I will be perusing this matter with attorneys and find it very unfortunate that this property is managed the way in which it is .I have been told by the property management that the members who are involved with Kromer investments do not care about the concerns of their tenants and any complaints or concerns escalated to them would not be considered and a tenant would always " Loose" when presented against a property manager. Just to reiterate I have been bullied ,harassed and made to feel uncomfortable in my own paid for living space. I'd also like to mention also that the paper work for eviction which indicates monies for rent due for the current month which is only 7 days past due includes what I believe to be a fine that is not indicated and does not constitute as rent. Any judge or attorney who sees this will know that the company is trying to get over on unassuming people. No paperwork about a fine exists and is " just added to the books". What type of accounting or business is run like that. No records for the tenant just extra monies on the books for the company. The matter is sad just as the office staff that runs the [redacted]. I will continue to exercise my freedom in expressing my experiences via sociable media sites, print ads and my various social contacts. I have never had an eviction on my record of 47 year as a professional. It takes only one unprofessional/uneducated power hungry manager and one equally uncaring profit driven company to mark a person with something untrue and unwarranted. I may not have as much money as Kromer corporate investment attorneys but I will do my diligence to clear my name.Desired SettlementI would like the matter reviewed. I doubt any action will be taken. I have little faith that any thing will be done in regards to this matter. It would surprise me for any individual to reach out to me to understand the circumstances of events and listen be compassionate. unfortunatleythe impression I have received from your spokesperson employee is quite different. I have very little expectations at this point form your power faceless corporation. For example, remembering every racial demographic is well-represented at site, there's one guy in your [redacted] units given extraordinary leeway from lease and property rule terms: from the start of others' tenancy, this one guy can block any tenant's doorway at night even in November or December with an active BBQ grill; he may leave any offal he sees fit outside other tenants' doors; when people move in, he can stage first-night fights outside their doors for hours until police are called; from the start he'll call other men "pimps" and wives "their woman" to their faces as they enter/leave their own units; he says he works for Kromer and nobody will dispute; Kromer will then undertake to start calling your phones and police saying you are being abused by your husband on say-so of Mr. BBQ (but may screw up, as in you're at swanky business meetings all day as the "abuse at apartment is happening"...oh, and your husband's with you at the business events, and [redacted] made a text copy of your message and phone made from); each month you pay rent, "Mr. BBQ" and his friends will attempt to kick your doors and windows open, install electric guitar amps and powerful bass speakers in the tiny unit above you, and for December, additionally have his white van car alarm go off non-stop for 30-60 minutes in the middle of the night...every night...right outside your window...too bad if you have to work, unlike this "privileged tenant", whose job seems to BE a jerk and noise maker...again, the only such non-stop character observable on the entire premises, and he may or may not further use yapping dogs in zest for noise.If you don't like this treatment, Kromer I'm told doesn't enforce rules between tenants just its own interest; so such a jerk, employee, or both must not be out of line with Kromer's approval of conduct; if you gave notice to move due to the jerk Kromer won't accept it and can pursue for I believe 12 months rent if you leave while the jerk is left to play ever increasingly.Desired SettlementIf you can't agree to a simple early-end-to-lease soon with my wife and tame down BBQ man and pals as well, it will be my pleasure to more formally "amuse" Kromer et al with counsel to effect legal closure. And from now on, I'll keep Sparks PD phone lines glowing with every abuse, every loudness, every van alarm...one night last week, Sparks PD already looked van over on own motion due to sound during patrol.Business Response This is the first complaint I've received from [redacted]. I've researched any complaints received by our Security company [redacted] and have nothing. I would like for [redacted] to simply contact me directly and I'm sure we can get this issue resolved.
