I made reservations for nights at this establishmentWe got there last Friday night and we went outWhen we got to the room to go to sleep I laid down and found blood all over the sheets and the pillowsThey had just turned the pillows over and had not changed out the bedding at allThis puts a person at risk for several health issues like HIV and HepatitisI complained and they would only reimburse me for half of one night for this mistake that could cause me a lot of medical issuesI will never stay in this place again!!
My wife and I decided to stay here last night after a death in the family to just get away even though we live locallyWe checked in and were given the keys to the suite that we had bookedUpon arriving to our room there was an awful smell present and the phone did not work in the room neitherWe had reservations to their Italian restaurant an hour after arriving so I had to call the front desk using my cell phone to speak with someoneI asked four separate times to speak with a manager about the problem but was denied each timeI finally told the receptionist about the awful smell and the phone not working and her response was that she would send someone up to try to fix the phone and spray something in our room for the smellI said that this was completely unacceptable and she stated that a manager would come up and that we could potentially change rooms
After no-one appeared for minutes I then called again to make sure that someone was coming up and the "manager" arrived minutes laterHe only said that he would air the room out or spray something in the air to mask the smell that was in the carpet and beddingHe actually expected us to stay in the room while this happened and while someone else fixed our phoneI explained to him that this again was unacceptable and we needed to change rooms because this was outrageous and our reservation at their hotel restaurant (which cost $total for the two of us for a dinner course each) was now in minutesHe left the room and finally called his superior and our room was changedWe ran over to the new room only to find that one of the two keys that were given to us worked and frustratingly went down to dinner
Upon getting back to our room the main television when you walk in had all of the cables dangling from the bottom in huge knots, there was a patch where a hole used to be in the wall that wasn't painted over it was just a large grey metal cover screwed into the wall, and the hanger outside of the bathroom was dangling from the wallAt this point it was late and clearly they did not care enough about their guests to even move us to a room without damagesI still have all the pictures of what our room looked like
While checking out this morning I wanted to make sure that the "local" discount had been applied to our stay because the front desk agent upon checking in had told us that it would be applied after he had checked our ID'sI then found out that this was not the case and that nothing had been applied
In summery we will never be giving our business nor the business of our company for events to the Peppermill againIt was the worst experience I have ever had with something so simple as a room change and caring enough to make things rightPlease do not support them and the Revdex.com Rating as well as their "Diamond" rating need to absolutely be re-evaluatedYou have at least lost the business of a family that was going to make it a re-ocurring stay every few months, as well as the money gained by us having social and business events thereThe management should be ashamed and there should have immediately been a refund for our stay instead of just us having to stay there for the night in a dilapidated room that we were "upgraded to"Something drastic needs to either change or they need to lose their high rating as a casino
