The project didn’t officially start until Oct 20th due to permit and revisions of the plans due to customer changes ie adding 2ft to the length of the room addition. When I approached them about the compliant I was told by Mrs [redacted] that she nor her husband filed the complaint but was filed on behalf by her brother in law without their consent. As to the project, we have had delays due to rain and extreme cold weather that prevented us from completing the project sooner, when days warmed up we had men at the job working as fast as we could between weather swings, I personally fell off the roof twice and when men were working the temps were so extreme the siding would crack while trying to work with it.As of this complaint filing the following has been completed:FoundationFooting insulationFraming and sheathingAll rough electricalHvac installedRough plumbingRelocated window and installed exterior doorInstalled the roof and 90% of the siding, siding stopped because of bitter cold and will be finished this week due to warmer conditions. We have had an issue with MEP permits I was unaware of but have taken steps to correct asap this week.As concession for the delays I am installing flooring at no cost and didn’t charge for the extra length $concession, the contract is clear as to weather conditions and delays beyond our control and as such will be enforcedAttached are photos of the project, one with snow after it started melting and the next is after we removed the snow, repapered the roof and had to stop because of the weather.I am committed to finishing the project in a timely manner and to all city codesKron ConstructionLLC

To Clarify, I asked my brother to fill out the complaint because he has more experience with the Revdex.com.The project began before October 24th The foundation was dug prior to September 13, We have pictures to prove it We understand that there are weather delays We are disappointed in the fact that on workable days no one showed up If they did show up, they did not put in a full hour work day They would work for one to three hours and then leave They said they were going to get lunch or more supplies, but never returned He did send us a message that he fell off the roof We looked, took pictures, and did not see where anyone was on the roof The following is still not complete: There are 2xstuds, that while solid, do not touch the top plate We thought the studs had to touch the top plate. The electric, plumbing, and HVAC was installed without permits We are told the permits were obtained later, but we only have a copy of the electrical permit. The exterior door was installed without a header and no shims There are two 2x4s above the door where the plan calls for a 2xheader.On Monday the 16th & Tuesday the 17th, the weather was good and no one showed up Wednesday the 18th, he showed up around 2:pm and worked until about 6:30/7:pmNo one showed up on Thursday the 19th when the weather was good It rained a little on Friday the 20th He did show up, but only worked about two and half hours.Regards, [redacted] ***

We wanted to clarify that Kron Construction has mostly completed the contracted work We have not yet settled on payment We as consumers have felt that Kron Construction has been very unprofessional and less than honest with us throughout this process We hope that future consumers will not have to deal with this company without an awareness of the problems they may also encounter. We are not sure how this is reflected in your rating of the company, but encourage you to let consumers know in some way that they may also have problems if they do business with Kron Construction. If you have questions please do not hesitate to contact us

We have not heard from Kron since May We are not certain what he is talking about The plumber completed the rough plumbing before the permit was issued The inspector rejected the plumbing because it was done wrong and there was no permit That is why the City is taking him against the Carpenter Board on July 8, as previously stated in my prior e-mail Everything is in the courts hands and our lawyers hands I will not respond to Kron's commits because what he is saying is not fact The court has all the e-mails that were sent from Kron and they are in the process of handling the situation.
Also, we never told him to stop coming Kron just stopped coming on his own and we had not choice but to take further action. Mr*** ###-###-####

To Clarify, I asked my brother to fill out the complaint because he has more experience with the Revdex.com.The project began before October 24th.  The foundation was dug prior to September 13, 2014.  We have pictures to prove it.  We understand that there are weather delays.  We are disappointed in the fact that on workable days no one showed up.  If they did show up, they did not put in a full 8 hour work day.  They would work for one to three hours and then leave.  They said they were going to get lunch or more supplies, but never returned.  He did send us a message that he fell off the roof.  We looked, took pictures, and did not see where anyone was on the roof.
The following is still not complete:
There are 2x4 studs, that while solid, do not touch the top plate.  We thought the studs had to touch the top plate. The electric, plumbing, and HVAC was installed without permits.  We are told the permits were obtained later, but we only have a copy of the electrical permit. The exterior door was installed without a header and no shims.  There are two 2x4s above the door where the plan calls for a 2x6 header. On Monday the 16th & Tuesday the 17th, the weather was good and no one showed up.  Wednesday the 18th, he showed up around 2:00 pm and worked until about 6:30/7:00 pm. No one showed up on Thursday the 19th when the weather was good.  It rained a little on Friday the 20th.  He did show up, but only worked about two and half hours.Regards,[redacted]

Got four estimates for my wet basement ($1,500-$9,000), Kron was my fifth estimate. Explained to me that my problem was a simple and quick fix. Didn't charge me and fixed my issued in 2 minutes. Awesome & Honest!

The electrical did pass inspection, the framing was corrected as per the inspectors request we would like to mention that when the plumbing didn’t pass was because the inspection request was made by Mr [redacted] without speaking with us knowing it wasn’t completed and that we were in the process of obtaining a permit but afterwards the city added fines and posted a stop notice further hindering us having a plumber come out to complete the work and costing us more money, the hvac is done, the plumbing rough is done and needs to be tested once permits are issued but we cant as nobody wants to touch it without tear out and start over because they didn’t do it and the issues attached to it but it can be done if Mr [redacted] would allow a homeowner affidavit . Kron Construction has done many projects were permits are  obtained plumbing etc are part of the project and never had a client or should I say clients brother make the job so difficult and add more issues than what is needed to be worked out, this complaint was originally filed on behalf of Mr [redacted] by his brother per Mrs [redacted] only to be told after that they filed again either lying or playing games, after the letter of suit did we stop not before.  We made an offer to end the contract earlier because this issue only to get no reply, we asked Mr [redacted] if we could sit down when he got home to clear things up only to get no reply from our texts, these are facts. We therefore assume he was no longer interested in dialog and only in the suit. Kron Construction, LLC
