I was lucky enough to only loose a deposit after walking away from a rust bucket that was advertised as a turn key restored 1978 Camaro. Things that are wrong but not advertised, broken windshield, rust bubbles in paint, non operating heat/vent, duct tape over warning light on dash, poorly “painted” interior that reeks of spray paint, bolts hanging out of engine accessories.

Also as far as the title goes the car does have a clean and clear title it was mailed to her address. I do believe she had received it but she is stating she did not which I believe to be false. we have already sent the paperwork to Motor Vehicles to get a duplicate title, she will receive it as...

soon as it comes in the car was definitely not sold without a title.Let me first start off by saying this is a 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner that is highly optioned with the end 96 air Grabber intake 4 Speed and big block. nowhere in the ad that I indicate anything about the vehicle being Road ready or TurnKey. it specifically says in the ad that this is a project, if you Google project it will explain in detail what it means, the car needs work and money I was told by the wife that the husband was looking for a project car to work on. if you look at the pictures on the ad it shows the bench seat and no consult or bucket seats it’s simply States the car was option with them.so it is very clear that you were not going to get bucket seats and consult with this car. I also explained that the frame had been repaired in the rear .as far as the motor blowing smoke everywhere it did not when it left this place the car was actually driven around the block, the car was sold for $16,050 I do believe it was a $20,000 plus car in the condition it is it .these cars go anywhere from 50 to $75,000 restored the reason l got 16050 is because in the ad it has specified a project, it would have done much more if that wasn't clarified, she had giving me negative feedback on eBay I had to talk to with eBay they have removed the negative feedback and sided with me .same with PayPal she requested her money back PayPal sided with me stating that I did not misrepresent the vehicle in any way .the wife had purchased the car and maybe she thought that her husband could restore it perhaps when he finally saw the car he decided it was more than he could do either way it is a project thank you very much

I find it very interesting that this seller is pointing a finger at us. He lied to us regarding the condition of the vehicle and then proclaims that we are lying about receiving the title. We were out of town from 12/11/17-1/2/18, but asked our house sitter daily whether or not we had received anything from the seller. The answer was always no and we never received anything beyond that date either.Interestingly enough, though the seller claims the title was sent to our address, he is now saying he needs a copy of my driver’s license so he can transfer the title to us through DMV. How did he supposedly send it earlier if he needed my driver’s license to do so? I have never sent the seller a copy of my license. Nothing but lies from this seller. Also, is it only the title that is our complaint? I think not! The seller lied about the condition of the vehicle over all. I find it incredibly interesting that he doesn’t even try to address our claims about the condition of the car.  He knows he doesn’t have a leg to stand on, because everything we stated was FACT!I am also submitting a text where he states, “There’s nothing that needs to be addressed underneath it is all solid everything that was bad has been repaired there are no weak spots whatsoever.” That was in response to my stating we didn’t want to be surprised or disappointed about the underneath of this car. He is a huge lier and he has not heard the end of us.We intend on pursuing criminal charges against this seller. Hopefully, he will learn to become an honest seller after this case is over!

[redacted]  Tim K[redacted] at it again. notice the attempt to deflect by debating what day the car was paid for, and no mention of the "trade in" from [redacted]. In actual fact I paid Tim a $500 deposit through Paypal on Nov 14th, since he requested the transaction take place "outside of [redacted]" and through a bank wire I went into the bank on Nov 18th to complete the transaction. once again, this is not a dispute about that exact minute or day the car was purchased, but rather the condition of the car in question. The oil in the car is a coffee color indicative of a fluid leak into the oil, this along with the white sludge in the valve covers is a certain clue to a leak. The oil is not fresh, in fact the oil filter is aged quite a bit and also has spray paint all over it where Tim painted up the engine compartment. I am not concerned about the electrical issues, I was aware it had minor problems there. My concern is with the motor needing to be replaced. PA law states that if a dealer knew, or should have known about an engine issue that they are responsible for repairs, even if the car was sold "as is". This also applies to a car sold with a twisted or bent frame, which this car may have evident by the measurement difference between the back wheels and back fenders. I would be happy to show anyone photos of the engine oil, white sludge in valve covers, as well the the difference in wheel measurements. This car is unsafe to drive at any speed.Once again, immediately after getting the car I offered to ship it back at my expense, and to also give him $200 for his time, and he declined, he also told me he is taking a $1500 loss on the cart. I ask you, what do his actions tell you about what he knew of the cars condition?

I sold this car to [redacted] the car was advertised as a project it also states car has not been gone through at all in the shop the only thing that was done to the car was a tune up and fresh oil change there was no signs of any water in the oil [redacted] states he purchased it on 11/17 and talk to me...

on 11/18 about the issues he never paid tor the car until 11/19 when I did end up talking to him he told me that the motor ran real strong sounded very healthy and had a nice rumbling idle to it and shifted real nice the problem he was having was with the electrical as I explained to him I did not know what was wrong with the electrical in the car it could be a fusible link or he may have to purchase a complete painless wiring system he was okay with it at first I also told him that nothing workcs at ad electrical I told him I did not know what the car would need or wouldn't need I also gave him the opportunity to personally come down and inspect the car before he purchased it he told me that he was looking for a project to work on over the winter wed that is exactly what he bought

This seller is a con artist and thief! Buyer beware! We even had a third party auto body company look at the rust bucket he sold us and we were told the car never should have been sold. There was nothing left of the car that was worth saving! See my Revdex.com report below.

On December 3, 2017, I contacted ebay to ask about their buyer protection plan. I recorded our conversation to prove that I was told it would be covered. Please visit this link to hear the recorded audio for yourself https://youtu.be/FTQj2sypRSU
I then contacted the buyer and asked that he place the car back on ebay and I would even pay for the buyer fees so that we had coverage should he turn out to be a bad seller. He agreed and I purchased the car for a $500 down payment that evening and a final 15,550 the following day on December 4th. The ebay item # was 322920549522.

In addition to these amounts which equal $16,050, we were asked for another $350 to ship the car to my daughter’s home in PA a few hours from the seller. The $350 was paid through Paypal on December 7th. When that plan didn’t work out, we were asked for another $1,000 to have it delivered to our home in CO and that money was sent on December 8th. We paid a total of $1,350 for shipping. So at this time, we have sent the seller $17,400.

The following is the seller’s ad on ebay.
“What we have up for your consideration today is a very rare and highly optioned 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner. this car came from the factory with a big block for Speed eight and three quarter rear Sure Grip n96 Factory air grabber. front disc brakes power brakes power steering Factory tach. this is a bucket seat and console car still has Factory 4 speed console shifter in it and Factory for Speed. this is a project car although it does run and drive go through all four gears and reverse .and stops I've actually taken it for a ride the motor is a 440 that has been freshly tuned .with new electronic distributor and cap new plug wires spark plugs oil and filter valve covers breather air cleaner radiator cap radiator fluid overflow bottle battery terminals. new air Grabber system for headlights high-beam and low-beam new carpeting chain steering wheel Hurst pistol grip shifter handle FM Bluetooth receiver floor mats .top of Dash is very nice shape. the interior looks very nice as well with new armrest I have new door inner door handles ordered should be on before end of auction car has headers and good exhaust system car also has brand new wheels and tires whole way around new lug nuts Mickey Thompson's on back Wranglers on front

If you look at the original description in the ad, you will clearly see that the seller decieved us regarding this vehicle. The vehicle we received doesn't look like that vehicle nor does the condition come close to what was listed on ebay. We were told that the only undercoating on the vehicle was original and it has been undercoated numerous times to cover the massive amounts of rust that we were told did not exist.

The hinges on the doors are so rusted that the doors will not open or close and the dashboard screws are rusted through and the dashboard falls off. The body of the car is nothing but bondo and newspaper is filling the caverns holding the bondo in place. The frame is cracked where the K member supports the entire drive train and front suspension. The frame rails are rusted from the inside out. Not one piece of metal on this car is free of rust or even salvageable. In addition to the large amounts of rust, absolutely none of the electrical works. This includes the headlights, wipers, tail lights, turn signals, and dash instruments. In fact, all the wiring for the entire car has been thrown in the trunk of the car. There is also a bench seat instead of the bucket seats and console listed in his ad.

Just to unload the vehicle off of the semi, the engine was sprayed with starting fluid. Once it started, smoke filled the air and the car quickly stalled. It was parked in our driveway until my husband could return home to look it over. It wouldn't start to pull it in the garage and upon inspection it is a rust bucket! It is not road worthy or licenseable anywhere!

On top of all of this, the seller did not send us our title! What a scam!

Review: I recently purchased a 1981 Camaro from Tim K[redacted] of Kroney's Resto. I can't begin to list the issues with this car, and more specifically with this man. I have yet to do business with a individual with less integrity.I purchased the Camaro from him he originally listed on [redacted]. His ad stated that it was a project car. but that it "runs quite well"...and that the motor was "freshly tuned"...that it wouldn't take much to make it a " daily driver ". I asked what the car needed and he told me a windshield, dash pad,and minor electrical work, that all the lights worked when he bought it ( 2 months earlier) but that they don't work now...he stated his mechanic bumped some wires putting a battery in and most likely it's just a blown fuse.I decided to purchase the car , however, Mr K[redacted] talked me into purchasing the car outside of [redacted], a decision I deeply regret. I purchased the car for $4800 assuming it needed the above items, plus a few minor cosmetic items, after all it is a 35 year old car. Immediately after getting the car delivered I knew I was in trouble, the engine had a very noticeable rapping coming from the right side of the motor. I immediately offered to ship the car back at my expense and to give him $200 for his trouble, he declined,... I now know why. The motor leaks oil badly from the rear main seal, the inside of the engine is covered in white gunk, the engine oil is a frothy coffee color, both signs of coolant getting into the oil system, typically from a blown head gasket or cracked head. after pulling the valve covers you can clearly see by the rockers the cam has several wiped lobes, with several others badly worn. A couple of the rockers are not moving at all.I don't have the space here to list all of the lies this man told me, but I can tell you it was many. Tim told me he got the car in a trade, then off of [redacted], then in a trade off of [redacted]. I ended up tracking down the gentleman that sold Tim the car ..he told me no such trade ever took place. BEWARE FRIENDS !!!Desired Settlement: Full purchase price refund.

I forgot to mention that our story so closely matches your story! I agree... he has no integrity at all! He is a con artist and a thief! I won’t get my money back from this $&@/?!, but save yourself and don’t buy so much as a hub cap from this man!

That is how this seller gets around ripping people off! He says it was sold as a "Resto". His "restos" are rust buckets that can't even be restored! He is a thief! DO NOT BUY FROM HIM! It is my mission to save others from buying from this seller. Save your money and sold with a seller with a good reputation. If you read this and buy from this seller anyway... I can guarantee you will experience the same!
