Paid a $25 non-refundable deposit. The deposit insured a scheduled appointment & service. I scheduled for April 4, 2020. Was not provided with a service or a rescheduled date. Due to the COVID-19. Owner has not giving me a rescheduled date, so I requested for refund back & did not a refund.

Ms. Knowingly booked an appointment during the COVID-19 outbreak. According to my policy via my booking site a $25 deposit is due to complete booking. As Ms. stated, the deposit is non refundable and non transferable regardless of circumstance. The booking deposit not only covers the service, but more importantly the date so I, the stylist would have not wasted time. After the state mandated non essential business closure I notified Ms. to let her know we would have to reschedule to a later date (before the month of May) free of charge because the building is closed, she accepted. Because I did not give her an exact date, which I cannot give because we are under quarantine until further notice, she contacted me another day to say she would be performing the service on herself and would like a refund. Per policy, deposits are non refundable.
