To clarify I am not being sued In our conversation about her last electrician/contractor, the customer told me she was going after them to compensate lost monies to put toward what I needed to fixAs explained in first response I did mention to the customer that I have recently had to take former customers to the magistrate because one customer refuses to pay her the bill and the other customer only paid partial payment I have original documents from the magistrate I will forward upon request to prove my response The customers concern about my guys working separately is to maximize the time they are there It only takes one guy to install a light fixture and outlet so one was placed on that job, the other worked on heaters One would be standing around wasting her money if they were on the same jobs The customers concern of my guys being unprofessional with personal phone calls and using a spit container is the first this has been brought to my attention I will speak to them about this issue If there are live wires in customers walls they are from other electricians The live wire that was put back into the customers wall was all explained in last response There was a wire nut placed on wire end which now makes the wire safe and it is completely legal I will be calling the electrical inspector today to discuss with him inspecting my work that I have done to prove to her that everything is right and legal I am willing to pay for this so the customer does not have to put out any more money The placement of the light in the room with the water damage has not been brought to my attention before I will need to meet with costumer to also see this and fix it once inspector inspects it Thank You,Frank A***

The Customer had me come to her house to work on her wiring I have been out to her house several times so this is not our first encounter Customer was always happy and always paid on timeUnfortunately , she has many other electricians in her home and lets just say the wiring is a
mess.I gave her separate proposals, to fix the hazardous wiring and for the basement She called me one day to to let me know she could not afford to do it all at once but have to at a later time when she could afford itShe also stated she was going after previous electrician and contractor to try and compensate over lost money of the work that I need to fix The customer also stated she was tired of paying for unacceptable work by contractors that she has had in her home A few weeks ago she called and told me her home was cold ans she was concerned for her safety due to the fact she had space heaters plugged in with extension cords are the house She knew this was unsafe We talked about the issue and came up a plan to install temporary heat with baseboard heaters When she decided to finish her remodel would reuse these heaters so she was not wasting her money She agreed We spoke about the best option was for time and material for this situation I was unaware of the condition of the home at the current time. I was on the schedule to go out to her home that day but a meeting came up last minute for a new project we were beginning soon so I had to change the schedule Instead of canceling I changed the schedule I honestly dont remember the customer asking me to be always on cite but I didnt anything of the schedule change I have many roles in my business and cannot do everything Once my guys got there my foreman told the customer the plan that Frank and her talked about would not work due to the conditions of her house There is no sheet rock up or insulation There are gaps in the home where you can clearly see outside These heaters would be just a waste of money So in their conversation they could add heaters to different rooms that had sheet rock and insulation My foreman also told the customer that he would have to do smaller heaters than he had due to the fact you cannot have heaters with a certain distance of outlets He could not change or move the outlets because of the wiring situation If he touched the wires or outlets he would have to legally straighten out his the wiresThe best to explain this is her wires are attached to random circuits throughout her home In order to fix the problem you must find wires where they belong, isolate them, and than reroute them correctly This was proposed in one of my proposals and new this was not an option for her She agreed Along with the heaters she asked my guys to install temporary lights and add a few outlets in the basement Since she did not tell me she was going to to have us add outlets, and lights I did not have all the correct material with us that we needed Not having the right material for the job, only the material we planned for the original job we agreed upon, my guys had to leave the job site and purchase the correct material In our conversation about the heaters she agreed to pay time and material Meaning, she will be responsible for for all time involved and material to do the job She was charged for troubleshooting, fixing lights, installing outlets, heaters, light in basement, time for getting material for a total of hours for $ The additional material purchased to do job was an additional $totaling the $ While my guys proceeded to do the job she brought to their attention about a live wire by her thermostat she was concerned about After foreman found the wire, he found the wire was hooked into another circuit He explained if he turned it off her fan would no longer work She explained the fan needed to work He than proceeded to tell her that he could only restore the power to the fan circuit if he placed a wire nut on the wire and placed a blank cover over it to make it safe until we came back to permanently fix the issue The reason why this was hooked up this way was because someone had used leg of of the volt circuit to control the the lights That part was unsafe and we couldn't leave it that way She said nothing to my guys about any of the work that they were preforming at the time When they were all finished she was given the bill and she paid it Saying nothing to my guys or even questioning the bill She calls me a day or so later thanking me for the great job my guys did She continued on about how she was happy to find me and was tired of being ripped off by other companies About a week went by and she calls again this time not so happy She proceeds to tell me my guys were unprofessional, unproductive, ripped her off I quoted her one price than after job was done I charged another I tried to explain I was unaware of the conditions of the home That my foreman was right when those heaters would do nothing but waste money until she puts sheet rock up and insulation She continued to tell me she was on her own and can only do so much at a time, that time after time time she is being ripped offI apologized to her and informed her that is not how I run my companyI also reiterated to her this stuff is just temporary like she agreed to until we can get int there and fix it permanently She did claim I was very unprofessional due to the fact I was not prepared We had a busy week before and my vans were not as stocked as they usually are but I was prepared for their job we originally agreed upon I cannot predict a customer changing or adding things while I am there I explained this to her on phone and through emails/texts She insisted that only I come out from that point to finish I agreed I told her that I would try and get her on the schedule for the following week if I could I agreed that I would talk to my foreman about all of her accusations, and if there were anything not done out of code, or unprofessional by my foreman I would take care of it and any work preformed to fix it would be done for free I though everything was settled A few days later the emails texts just flooded in berating me, my guys, my company Accusing me of not being a legitimate company, I am a rip off like all her previous contractors I only responded to a few because it was the weekend and I was busy with my family Monday morning I responded with emails, texts and a phone call I did mention to her that in years for running my business I have never taken advantage of a customer and I certainly do not plan on starting with her Harassing emails/texts telling me to do the right thing or she was going to a judge and the news I responded many times with I told you I would fix it She refused to answer my calls with a time and date to where I would come out I said to reassure her about my work I would bring an inspector, and my foreman to get tot he bottom of her concern No response After emails/texts she simply refuses to to get to the bottom of it I will not just give a refund with getting my opportunity to straighten it out My emails/texts can prove I have been will to fix/ or put to rest her accusation/ concerns I reiterated I am willing to have anyone come out and verify that my work has been done right and reiterate gain that the things we have done are temporary I have prided myself in on being a fair and professional personI strive to set my myself apart from all others in my industry I live by my motto, "Wiring Done Right"! I have been in business for over years and As I told the customer I have never taken advantage of a single customer and I was not going to start with her I will prove with emails/texts that I have been willing to right/fix and prove all of my work to the customer The customer refuses I am also prepared to send in affidavits from other companies that I have worked for along with respected electrical inspectors proving my professionalism and quality of workAny other questions or requests please contact me @ ###-###-####

I am rejecting this response because:Frank sent two employees to install heaters as well as outlets and lightsUpon observing the area, one employee said it would be useless to install six heaters as Frank instructedI asked the cost, approx$At this point I requested two heaters instead of six. Since they said the heaters would not be useful, I requested two outlets be installed downstairs so that a portable heater could be used as neededThe downstairs is not a lived in area. One employee began working on the outlets directly adjacent to the electric panelI’ve since learned that it was unnecessary to drill through the studs as there is a inch gap between concrete foundation and studsThe time involved was approximately five hours to install three outlets in open studded wall and two light fixtures with strings and without lightbulbs or switches. In fact, the lights were installed on one switch ft from the base of the stairwayAt night it is necessary to carry a flashlight to go down the stairs and walk ft to the front wall to turn on the lightI requested two switches, however there was excuse after excuseThey also said it was temporaryI don't understand what this meansEven if temporary, should it not be functional until such time work is to commence? Further I had to provide the light bulbs as well as a trash bagTo say they were ill-prepared is an understatement. As far as the wires dropped in the wall, from what I have been advised, the wires must be in a metal box attached to the outside of the wall, not within insulated areaWires were dropped in the wall in two instancesThe other was connected to a thermostat which the employee removed and then went about placing a tester on the wires over and overThis was all unnecessary as the original heater was to be disconnected and a new wire installed I did not ask for troubleshooting, nor was it anything but a way to waste timeA metal box would have been sufficient. The wire connects the living room light fixtureOnce disconnected the light/fan no longer workedThe employee said I must have turned off a switch and more time was wastedEventually he reconnected the wire which had been disconnected from the wall thermostat because the light/fan was not working any longer. Frank mentioned 220vThe employee said it was 120v, but installed a new 220vAgain, it was not in necessary to troubleshoot the thermostat, as it was not in any way connected to the old heaterThe thermostat is within the heater itself. The light switch on the same wall was replaced, but not before an “antique” switch plate was removed dropped on the floor, missing one of the (painted) screws. The idea for this work was to avoid the use of an extension cord for a furniture sized portable heater, however this was not addressedThe cord is still necessary.A light was instead installed in an outdoor room set for demolition on the wall with visible water damageIt would have been better to install on any of the other three walls.I called Frank to discussHe said he would return the following weekDay after day I waited, called without response, and by the following week-end sent an email that I was very disappointedHe responded by asking, "What did you do, make up work for “my guys” as they went along?" I found this statement both absurd and disrespectful. The truth is I had to negotiate with "his guys" just for a light switch, which ultimately was never installedThey were also installing two 220v baseboard heaters with thermostats within the heater itself on same breakerOne heater is in upstairs room front wall, other in the back room- back wallIt took a lot of negotiating for two breakers as the clock was ticking. All in all, six heaters were quoted at just under $Two heaters and a few outlets along one wall directly next to panel box and two overhead lights with pull string were billed at $Had the employee not asked if I feel like a prisoner in my own home, I'd have questioned the bill, but I felt intimidated, so I paid and trusted that Frank would return to correct any issuesHad he returned the following week as agreed, I would not be writing to the Revdex.comInstead a series of phone calls, including accusations of harassment (because I sent email messages with photographs), is unacceptable. I no longer have faith in FA Electric and do not believe I should be forced to have them in my home againTo this date I have not installed a lightbulb in the second fixture and continue to trip over an extension cord and carry a lantern at nightThis was not worth $1049, $of which was used before stepping the door for "shopping", yet they didn't have lightbulbs, metal boxes, a trash bag (had to borrow), or other basic staplesThey did not go “shopping” due to missing equipment as Frank has writtenThey didn't even have simple metal boxes, garbage bag or a lightbulbSince they were so ill-equipped, it would have only been fair to disclose this information and set up an appointment for when they were ready to perform the workInstead it was hee and haw all day long until the bill was over $I had to finally ask them to leaveAdditionally, had I been made aware of the exorbitant trip charge, I would never had made an appointment. It has been weeks since Frank’s response, and I’ve yet to hear backI appreciate a reasonable resolution that does not include have FA Electric return to complete work that should have been completed two months ago.Thank you
