Had a bad experience with krypton please beware of them

I have a severe COMPLAINT about this companyThe Salesman SANTIAGO, not only decided to what I believe rat it us out with the city during construction, which cost me 40K more than I had to spend, but then he decided to call my wife and comment to her that he had research her on Facebook and thought she was beautiful as well as her daughter
If the owner reads this please contact me, because your employees is going to get you in a lot of troubleI had complaint about him to the supposed manager, which obviously didn't care, but he continues to harass my wife even after the fact, so Now I will write reviews everywhere and will follow with legal action

Unprofessional and unethical As a business owner, closing down to tent for termites is a big deal The sales guy, *** promised to handle this to our requirements The contract was written as such The day of the tenting, the service person was completely unaware of the times the tent would go up and down The salesperson wouldn't answer the phonewhen we would not allow them to proceed with the tenting, the owner of the business said that the salesperson wasn't authorized to do this -- but he would honor it for another $1, (He stated that it was off hours, holiday.) At that point, we negotiated to split the difference We're not sure if this was just a bad salesperson, or if this their business practice to increase the contract when you've already planned for the tentingWhen *** did finally call us back, he had no explanation and we clearly stated that his lying was unprofessional and unethical The owner said he was going to be fired -- but he was here to pick up the check!!

Upon purchasing our new home, we contracted Krypton Pest Control for tenting due to termite activity. We did this before moving in, to make it as easy as possible on our family. Within a couple months of living in the house, we noticed active termite activity and called them for a re-tenting (covered through their warranty). We were given a date several months out. Apparently, new business is scheduled right away and warranty service takes much longer.

We were given a date in July and made all the preparations, including renting a hotel and packing all of our food & medicine for the time we would be out of the house. We called that Monday to confirm with the salesperson, who had performed the inspections/assessments both times, and were told that the tenting would be done that Friday and that we should have a call from the office by the end of business on Thursday. That call never came in. When we called our contact, he got us in touch with the office manager and we were told that we were not on the schedule. We explained how we had waited months for this date and had everything packed and a hotel rented. She simply said that she makes the schedule and that the salesperson did not have the authority to give a date. Bottom line: we were screwed and Krypton was unwilling to attempt to make things right. We were then given a date in August and were told to try our best to get a refund for the hotel stay. That is the extent of customer service that was provided.

Our date in August came around and we ended up having to re-pack everything and ended up staying with relatives. The tenting was done on a Friday and we were told that we would have our keys back on Sunday at 7:00 AM. On Saturday morning, I decided to pass ** the house to see what was going on. The tent had already been removed and the windows were left open as to ventilate the premises. However, there was not a single sign warning of poisonous gas. I promptly called the technician who had performed the tenting and told him, to which he said that it was not a problem. He went on to say that he verbally told my wife that we were not allowed to enter the property until the next morning at 7:00 AM. I told him that the law states that signs "shall not be removed until the end of the fumigation period, when ventilation has been completed and the premises declared safe for reoccupancy" as per 5E-14.112 Fumigation Requirements - Prefumigation Inspections, Evacuation, Warning Notices (Signs), Special Safety Precautions and Responsibilities. I told him that he must return to the home at once to place the signs. He then got defensive and told me that he knew more about his work than I did and that he was not going back to my home. I then called the salesperson and told him what I found upon returning to my home. He told me that he was "sick and tired of everyone googling something and thinking they know more about this stuff than (he does)". When I told him that I was referring to the laws written in www.flrules.org (The Department of State's Administrative Code, Register and Laws Section -the filing point for rules promulgated by state regulatory agencies), which regulates his industry, his attitude quickly changed. I informed him that these laws were there to protect us as well as his business. He then called the technician and convinced him to go back to my home.

The technician then placed the signs at all doorways, as mandated by state law, and placed key locks on all of the door locks. He then retaliated and told me that the company does not work on Sundays and that I was now going to have to wait until Monday to get my keys since I "want to go by the book now." I had to take the morning off of work on Monday in order to move all of my family's belongings back into our house.

From start to finish, the entire experience with Krypton Pest Control was unprofessional and disrespectful. I hope my review will save people from wasting their time, money, and energy with a company that doesn't value their clients. I would never refer anyone to this company and hope that they are investigated and eventually closed for good.
