Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: First of all, Central Auto Liquidators took full advantage of my situation Central Auto Liquidators motor was listed for $promising a pristine low miles, motor and they had a best offer button on *** where I successfully negotiated the price to $That was all the money I had and the rep for Central Auto Liquidators was quite grumpy and upset that he agreed to this priceI told Central Auto Liquidators I have no more money that the $was my last dime! Central Auto Liquidators had called me and the rep was upset and very concerned how I was going to pay for shippingI told Central Auto Liquidators, I have to borrow the money and that it will take me a long time to get money to install the engine I had explained that I will be way past the warranty period. Central Auto Liquidators never was concerned soon after I explained my situationSo, in short, Central Auto Liquidators took full advantage of the situation, what does Central Auto Liquidators have to lose? I paid in full up front for the motor and shipping no risk at all for Central Auto Liquidators! Central Auto Liquidators knew I won’t find out about the motor’s condition until well after the warranty would expireThis was a way for Central Auto Liquidators to make a quick profit for nearly doing nothingThe reason being is that there is no other way for a person in their garage to find out if a motor is good or not, one must fully install the motor into the vehicle with all the proper requirements, (liquids, oils) and safely test the motor simply pass or fail after starting the motorThe photo of the dashboard is not proof that the motor is good because Central Auto Liquidators only provides a photo of a random dashboard. How is that proof that the motor was the same motor or a good motor? Competitors provide video showing the engine running and provide sound along with the tail pipe footage to show that the motor is in working orderAttached are the photos of the engine tabs Central Auto Liquidators claims that they never seen the photos in fact I sent them to Central Auto Liquidators in my initial correspondence Central Auto Liquidators claims that there are four tabs there are ONLY tabs and all Heat Tabs are intact, where are Central Auto Liquidators photos to compare? Central Auto Liquidators was not concerned about the tabs because they sent me a blown motor, furthermore the motor they sent me was not at all prepped like the competitor’s example motor in the picture attached of how the industry when concerned about warranties would prep a motor prior for shipping to a customer you can see in the photo that extra care was involved to cover all openings with a red cap, the next photo shows how I received the motor from Central Auto Liquidators, big difference! Furthermore, the numbers on the engine don’t match the ones on the invoice! As shown in the photosHow is this motor related in any way to the invoice? Central Auto Liquidators either deliberately sent a blown motor or simply made a mistake and sent the wrong motor a subject Central Auto Liquidators will not discuss either way something is very fishy here and all I am asking for in my money back! I am already $in the hole and I still don’t have a running vehicleCentral Auto Liquidators promised me a pristine low miles motor, what I got is a corroded blown motor sent to me simply put not at all as described in the *** sales description!

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Regards,
[redacted]

The person first states that I sent them a blown engine on purpose which makes no sense. We are talking about sending a engine via freight from the east coast to west coast at the cost of doing so, why would I do that? The sale was via [redacted] which gives a 30 day money back warranty, but we give a...

standard 90 day warranty and also follow the [redacted] rules. The item was purchased on September 21, 2016, which means they received it approximately 10 days after and the warranty was 90 days from that day.  Which in turn by December or early January we should have been contacted regarding any such problems. The customer contacted us only after trying to reverse the charges, which was denied by his credit card company and [redacted] because of the time that has lapsed. Then early July we were contacted and he has been trying to twist things in his favor although the warranty has far from passed. It's not a matter of a few weeks, it's 6 months after the fact and he doesn't care what is said. I also mentioned there is more then 1 heat tab which he has never sent the photos of (in my attempt to see if this engine over heated). The [redacted] Auction listing no longer comes up because it's an old transaction [redacted]. I have a picture of the cluster showing a no check engine light and a proper temperature. I also would like to say in my defense, I was never unhappy with the sales price or terms of the transaction . I have responded to the individual about the complaint at every turn and have only responded to his threats and ideas about it.  I have been an Revdex.com accredited business for some time now and this is my first time handling a complaint. I can understand a person complaining about being financially challenged but that doesn't grant anyone terms of their own. He saw pictures of the vehicle when purchasing the engine, which showed the cluster mileage and no warning lights. If this person wanted months or a year of coverage why didn't he mention and attempt to buy a extended warranty to cover that time frame (no mention of needing an extended warranty, if so I am sure he would have included proof of it). I also have included a copy of the original invoice and a picture of the cluster from that vehicle for your aid in the matter. I would also like to mention, he claimed bait and switch which isn't possible since the vehicle information is on the invoice. We are not trying to be difficult but who can prove  how and when installation was performed and where the damage came from.
