I have been emailing and phoning *** for over a week now, with no reply. I resorted to phoning your office yesterday and was on hold for over an hour, with no reply again! All I have is one question with regard to our *** car insurance policy XXXXXXXX on our new *** Feb. 28/20. Does *** give any sort of Covid discount for vehicles hardly used during this pandemic. Because of Covid our driving usage has been severely curtailed. We have driven only 610 kms. since that date.

. I had a insurance with them. They increase the price middle of the year even before the expiry date. I was not agreed upon, but they increased it and send me the notice.

I am absolutely baffled by what this insurance company can get away with. First it took a year to take someone off my policy, although we both called and agreed to take him off. We spent months of our time trying. You always wait on hold for an hour to talk to anyone and then they give you the run around. Then I got a quote for an ex who didn't live with me and they added him on my policy as an occasional driver without my consent. I was told to send proof he doesn't live with me which I did immediately and then was told that wasn't good enough, that I had to prove he had insurance or they couldn't take him off my policy. (He had opted not to get insurance for a few months.) Even though he lives 3 hours from me and does not have access to my car, they wouldn't take him off as an occasional driver. I asked to cancel my policy and they wouldn't send me cancellation forms until I reviewed them on ***. This has been an absolute nightmare. My insurance went from 139 to 289 for an "occasional driver" that doesn't touch my vehicle. I have never had this kind of experience with a broker in my life.

I don't usually leave reviews, just to busy with my own stuff to be bothered. Today, after asking for an online quote over the weekend ,I was able to talk to Adam. What a nice person...easy to talk to and quite pleasant and very professional ! I was very upset that the insurance company I was with was taking there annual pound of flesh. This guy was on it, making me feel that he knew what I was going through. He explained that as a broker he could find the best insurance for my needs. I didn't think it was going to go anywhere having experienced the reality check from my former insurance. Adam found me a great insurer and saved me a bundle on my truck, motorcycle and condo. Adam was excellent in following through and returning calls. So to wrap this up...thanks Adam and keep this guy, so if I have any insurance needs I have a guy ! Loyal to those, loyal to me !

This company which doesn't have employees doing their work on time - you would give them a two months time to cancel your insurance but still they would not submit your paperwork on time - they would also not pick up your calls and yes your *** assigned employees will care not to email you back - ***

I personally thought it was only travellers which was bad but Nop Ktx and travellers insurance combination has costed me headaches after headaches.

I canceled my insurance ain July with all paperwork sent through emails and guess what it's October and every month they take out payments just cause they have my bank details.

Because of this company I ended up staying with my old insurance for another year and as a result overpaying hundreds of dollars for my cars and home insurance. They hook you up promising an incredibly good deal, take all your data including copies of the driver license and void cheque. I was quotes $2001 for auto and after all that they turn around with an email saying after running industry reports the quotes have change. Now its $1000 more." Reports are ran once an agreement to proceed occurs and the requested documents are provided." This is from the broker Jarret who never once bother to explain this to me during our two telephone conversation over 2 days.

I have the worst experience with KTX in several aspects.
When ever you call these guys you have to face more than an hour to answer them.
Luckily if your call is answered, then your second exam starts as you will gonna face worst ever customer service by their hired person. If you have any questions or confusion about your insurance and you want to clear that *** the person will not ease you rather then that He/She will make you more confuse.
In the end If still you want to go with KTX then you have to do the broker's work by yourself as He/She will send you a long form to fill and send it to Him/her to just copy and paste the details and give you the insurance.

I signed up on March 15 with KTX, for 2 months I did not receive my car insurance documents. I cancelled to go with another company on May 6. I didn't receive any information from KTX Insurance Brokers for how much money I owe and when a withdrawal will take place. 3 weeks go by since cancellation and suddenly *** insurance tries to withdraw $451.80 from my chequing account to which I did not have enough and now I've been hit with an NSF fee on top. KTX Insurance Brokers cannot broker information.

Desired Outcome

I would like to be refunded the 45.00 NSF fee I was charged by the bank due to the lack of information provided by KTX Brokers.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)They addressed the issue, but it remains a fact I did not receive the letter that states when and how much is owed, as I have expressed to the representative. I asked if at least they could refund the NSF fee I was charged due to their negligence and I was denied. I stated that I accepted the 50 dollar administration fee + the amount owed to *** (the insurance company) but the NSF fee I incurred is completely unfair. KTX has consistently as a business, provided poor service, and lack of information which doesn't make sense because one of the primary roles of a brokerage is to provide information. Out of the many representatives that I have had to deal with only ONE was capable of addressing the issue while the others who CAUSED the issues were a constant disappointment in professional behavior. I request again, that the NSF fee be covered by the organization that caused it.

Due to KTX brokers not providing me legal documentation past the date of Sept 13, I was forced to register to my previous insurance company at a higher rate. With the miscommunication from KTX brokers I will am being Charged $617.36 for one month's worth of auto insurance. Calls to KTX at the time was not returned and the insurance company *** advised I was not one of their customers

Desired Outcome

I will pay the rightfully amount owed to *** which would be the one month of service at $267.18. Good faith on KTX brokers part as they are responsible for this case would be the wavier of the cancellation fee of $83 and the refund of the $267.18 taken from my bank account.

If this charge goes to collections and affects my credit score, I will be forced to take this matter further ***. Please rectify this situation amicably.

Was misinformed by the agent, now costing me time and money with a lengthy and unhelpful process of cancelation.

Payment for premium for the year was told would come when the policy was set up...money was in the account. Turns out they tried to withdraw it 5 months AFTER, at that point I had forgotten about it. I made arrangements for them to take the payment out again in October... they didn't attempt until a full month after the date arranged. I found out by a policy cancellation letter. I spoke with the insurance company directly and they stated the payment issues wasn't my fault as the funds were available at the time the withdrawal was supposed to happen. Now I'm being billed a $50 fee to get it reinstated by the brokerage. If you like chasing a non-caring brokerage, go with these guys...guranteed to waste your time! Imagine if I ever needed to file a claim!
