Review: On the morning of March [redacted] 2014, I went to Kuei Lucks office (located at ) to register my daughters for the upcoming summer camp. As this was my first inquiry into the companys programs, the staff went into detail of all the benefits of Kuei Lucks camps. After which, I registered my daughters with Kuei Luck. I paid $4,035 up front, the full tution for the camp for my two daughters. I spent almost two hours at the office that day getting the details and registration done, but not once did anyone mention the cancellation policy.Around mid May, due to personal circumstances, I had to pull my daughter out of Kuei Lucks summer camp. I called the office (and talked to [redacted]) to inform them of my intention, and to my surprise, I was informed that theres a 30% cancellation fee. I responded by stating that no one had informed me that there would be such a big cancellation fee, and the fee is very unreasonable considering that it was over a month before camp starts. [redacted] then stated that its not her (or her staffs) job to inform parents of the cancellation policy, the cancellation policy (in very small font) is posted on the side wall, and its the parents job to find that out.Kuei Luck claims to be one of most professional educational organization in the community, and its a member of the [redacted], I believe it would be the professional thing to do to be open about its hefty cancellation policy. Placing these policies in fine print away from sight is in my opinion, very unprofessional.I believe that I shouldnt be penalized to the tune of 30%, given the lack of communication from Kuei Luck, and the fact that camp has not started, and my daughter has not gotten a single day of camp from Kuei Luck.Desired Settlement: Full refund as my daughters have not taken any classes at the camp.
