Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:First of all the job was NOT completed per the agreementIn the estimate from my insurance company, not an estimate from him, he was to remove and replace the gutter guardsHe stated in several conversations that he would waive the additional cost of new gutter guards due to the several customers I sent himHe has gone against his word which apparently means nothingAnybody looking to do business with him should think twice, make sure to get everything on paperAs for the deductible he says I didn't want to pay, I told him I was going to give it to him after I received a paid invoice and lien release on materials and labor which I never receivedReluctantly I did pay the deductible against my better judgmentAfter weeks of no response from phone calls, I went to his "office" to get this straightened out and he wouldn't answer the door but he did call the police on me Sincerely, [redacted]

This consumer had called and I took the phone call myselfI told him we were extremely busyThis call was right after a bunch of storm damageI let him know I didn't know when I could get to this, however, we would be in the area and if I
could sneak it in, I would stop by and do itOn that date, there were more storms that came through so we could not do the workWe were contacted again and I explained the storms prevented us from coming out and again explained that we were very busy and that was my one shot in getting it doneI said that we would be out in the area in the next week but again, storms came throughAt this point, he called my secretary, a female, and cursed her outI called him and told him I would not be coming out and serving anyone who talked to my secretary like this

We did the work described in his complaintIn the state of Missouri we cannot wipe out deductibles on insurance claims per Senate bill After completing his job he requested a refund of his deductible I explained this was not possible as it was against the lawHe got very angry and said
he used to be in business and you have to bend rules to become successfulI explained we would not be doing soI did give him an opportunity to upgrade his gutter guards at additional costHe then threw a temper tantrum and told me to leaveHe said his buddy used a contractor who wiped out his deductibleI told him shame on that guy for getting his customer to break the lawSeveral weeks later we had a discussion about the gutter guards as he was requesting they be done for freeI told him he needed to decide if he was going to pay the difference or not because we wanted to close this outHe then went on another rant about its not right to charge people a deductibleOnce again I explained the law and that we would not be breaking itOn Friday August 2, We refunded his money by mailWe did half of the work on the gutter guards by removing them, so we refunded him 50% of the money charged for the gutter guard portion of the project

The consumer sued us in court and the court date was 05-12-16.

Anybody looking to do business with him should think twice, make sure to get everything on paper. As for the deductible he says I didn't want to pay, I told him I was going to give it to him after I received a paid invoice and lien release on materials and labor which I never received. Reluctantly I did pay the deductible against my better judgment. After 3 weeks of no response from phone calls, I went to his "office" to get this straightened out and he wouldn't answer the door but he did call the police on me.
