Advice to.anyone that has been ripped off by this "man" : call the police. There are actual criminal charges that can put him in jail if he has taken money for work he never finished and certainly for him stealing anything from the materials for the job to something else that belongs to you.

Wish I had read the reviews prior to hiring him. Told me he could a lot of stuff, said he would. Didn't. Left the job unfinished and actually stole equipment from me. He will tell you anything to keep the money coming in. Sloppy work, incomplete work. Had to get another contractor to finish his shoddy workmanship. Won't answer phone calls or texts now of course. DON'T HIRE HIM!

I had Mr Kumanchik do a deck and a roof for me and he and his guys did a spectacular job. They were very polite and on time everyday. They did extra work that wasn't in our contract.. I would recommend him to others most definitely..

Hired Erick Kumanchik to put a deck on at the end of July 2016. It was the longest process ever. The materials arrived and sat for 3 weeks then It took him another 3 weeks to complete a very simple deck and every week he was asking me for more money to pay his employees. His 1 or 2 employees would show up some days and other days no one showed up. They would leave by 2 or 3 pm every day. I held out the last payment until he was completed with the job. I didn't even complain that the deck was not as promised, it was about a foot shorter than it should have been and the railing was 2 foot shorter than planned. He was supposed to return the "extra" material and refund me the money which he never did. I called him a dozen times and nothing...

PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR. Hired him to do remodeling work and he never finished. Very very poor workmanship. Tried to contact him on numerous occasion and he would not return any phone calls. He was paid in full before the work was completed so there was no reason for him to come back and fix or finish the job.

Review: [redacted]We hired [redacted] through [redacted] to do some work in the home we will be moving into at [redacted]He stated in our first phone call that it did'nt matter how far a job was -"Work is Work".He claimed to also be able to do electrical and plumbing.On Mar.10- Him and another guy showed up to do some work.He had my husband sign a contract stating all that would be done and accepted a FIVE HUNDRED DOLLAR deposit with the understanding work would be done that day.NOTHING was done.After a week of no-show, we contacted him and demanded he do some work or we wanted our money back.He showed up two days after that- shoddily installed a storm door, which had to be fixed- installed an outdoor oulet, illegally wiring it to my garbage disposal- -another repair- Without my permission-shoddily enlarged opening to a closet- did not frame it in AND left a huge gouge in the ceiling- ANOTHER thing to be repaired.Him and his friend then took it upon themselves to start the process of a [redacted] custom window for my bath.Window was the wrong size-could not be returned because it was a custom order which he insisted we needed. He can't even measure a window correctly. I contacted him after seeing the mess he made. He then informed me I needed a plumber[ for a simple bath trim kit installation ] AND an electrician for a light switch installation- both things done easily by current handyman.He also whined that he's spending money on gas, and can't afford to come out for these "little jobs".When we asked for our money back and said we would seek legal action, he threatened us with a lawyer. We have not been able to file a complaint until now because we have been so busy getting the house ready AND repairing his mistakes.Desired Settlement: I doubt we'll ever see a penny from [redacted], considering he was slurring his words on a phone message, reeked of alcohol on first visit and stole metal from "repairs" done.We want everyone to see what kind of person he is and to steer clear of him for ANY contracting work.

Review: I hired Kumanchik Contracting to replace siding on a building I own located at [redacted]. They did the job back in December of 2014. They were paid in full at the end of the job. I contacted Mr. Kumanchik June 1, 2015 to tell him siding had come off the building and sent him pictures. He informed me he would be there at the end of that week to repair the siding. The following week he still had not been to the property to repair the siding. Mr. Kumanchik informed me he forgot and would get there the week of June 8th. Still did not come to fix the siding. Then Mr. Kumanchik informed me he would be there on June 15th or 16th, still did not come that week. On June 18th he informed me he would be there after he finished up two jobs he had to have completed by June 27th. I contacted him yet again and he told me he would be there by July 3rd to repair the siding. I tried contacting Mr. Kumanchik on July 3rd - his voicemail is full so no one can leave him a message. I sent him a text message, but did not get any response from him. The siding is not repaired as of this date, July 4th, 2015. I just want to get the siding repaired and correctly, I paid him for a job in full and six months later have siding coming off of the property which should not be coming off. I have been patiently waiting for him to take care of this situation for over a month and now he will not respond to me at all.Desired Settlement: I want Mr. Kumanchik to repair the siding correctly.
