I approached the owner Alex at the end of Oct and requested a suspension of our contract as I was pregnant and having complications which made it not possible to take my son to Kumon. I offered to send him a note from my doctor stating as much. He was very rude, aggressive and not sympathetic. He said health complications are not a viable reason to suspend the contract. I explained that I am also in the military and I have moved locations which made it impossible to take my son to Kumon as well. He told me turn in a letter stating as much. The next say I sent him a letter from my Squadron. I did not hear a response until 3 weeks later when we received a bill in the mail from a collection agency. If we do owe money, we are less than 30 days late and there was no communication stating we were late, or owed money before it went directly to collection. This is unprofessional and shows a disregard for customers lift complications.

These statements should have made to me. She could have email or call me to ask if I have received either the doctor's note or the military relocation letter. I have not received either. Per contract that she signed, I am allowed to continue to debit her account. I'm not in the business of taking advantages of people. I have a Master's degree in education. I've taught in public schools for years. No one says to themselves that I will major in education and get rich! I'm not in this business for the money. These policies are in place to ensure parents' commitment. Had a person asked if she can sign up for three months, I would have decline because it is a LONG TERM program. -- Warm Regards,Alex

I am rejecting this response because:I sent an email to that email address. On Tuesday, Dec 10 I have tracking documentation a copy of the email and Military letter I sent back in Oct were delivered. The manager has still not reached out to us to resolve this situation nor apologize for how rude and aggressive he was when I tried to speak with him. Reviews of his business in yelp have similar complaints regarding his aggressive and rude behavior. He never said he would accept a letter from my doctor. He refused to acknowledge that in a month things can change drastically in the health of a pregnant women and while serving in the military.
At the very least the manager should reach out to try to resolve this. I tried when I stopped by to visit him in person and he dismisses my health and since then has not communicated with us at all. He sent our account to a collection agency without any notification.
