We thank you for being a valued customer. Appreciate your feedback, and please see the response to specific things addressed.
Ø  Kumon representatives repeatedly provided inaccurate information regarding the contract guidelines.
Attached is the contract that was signed...

by the customer on the first day that they joined program/availed services. We have not provided any information other than what is in the contract. The customer was also given a copy of the contract after it was signed,
Ø  Specifically, administrative personnel misinformed me multiple times of the appropriate time to withdraw from the program, resulting in additional charges. Kumon's customer service lacks professionalism and courtesy.
Information provided in the contract is the only thing that was mention when any customer has questions on fees/payments and end date of program. No additional fees, other than what was agreed upon, was charged. We are very particular about our courtesy and professionalism to customers.
Ø  Additionally, Kumon's advertised services and programs varied greatly from what they actually provided. For example, the pace of my child's program could not be accelerated despite being in an individualized curriculum.
The program is the same for all students, but each and every child is different, what skills they begin with, the skills they lack/have, the rate of learning, focus and concentration of every student is different. In our parent orientation we clearly mention just that - students will not be grouped by age or grade, as every child has different abilities and rates of learning. All students are in an individualized program. Thus, student progress is determined by how well the student is learning or assimilating information. We cannot accelerate students beyond their comfort zone – we need to make sure the student’s pace is ‘just right’ for them. Ex. If you have missed several days (or months/years) of taking your vitamins we cannot increase the dosage to 2x, 3x or 10x, just to get caught up.
Ø  Kumon's lack of flexibility and their strict adherence to a timeline without providing a proper explanation as to why that was resulted in great confusion and frustration.
We are not sure that we understand this comment.
Ø  The most surprising experience I encountered with Kumon was not their utter failure to follow through with their mission statement, it was the lack of proper sanitation. The one and only bathroom they have available for all of their students, instructors, and staff was constantly absent of soap and paper towels.
We are totally surprised by this comment for several reasons:
By definition, sanitation refers to ‘conditions relating to public health, especially the provision of clean drinking water and adequate sewage disposal.
Firstly, we are here to provide quality education to students. As convenience to customers we restroom facilities. (There are several larger businesses (e.g. ATT ) that simply don’t even offer restroom facilities.)
Secondly, we have not one, but TWO brand new restrooms (this building is less than 6 months old)! As in businesses with kids frequently using the restrooms, it would not be impossible that soap or tp run out occasionally!
Thirdly, we have a built in water fountain with cooled water. Hand sanitizers , tissue boxes, first aid boxes and more, galore J
Fourthly, we have a routine of sanitizing tables/work areas and restrooms, EVERY class day. Please see attached pictures of restrooms & student contract,
