Subj:  Complaint # [redacted]
Dear Ms. [redacted],
Thank you for working to resolve our complaint we submitted on 7/14/2015.  In response to the letter from Shane O[redacted], I would like to provide the following for consideration as we move to finalize this issue:
As I stated previously, the process which started back in March 2015, has been a rather taxing time on my wife and I.  We were then and have always been aware of the taxi brand that was placed on the title since it was carried from Texas to California to Oregon and now Washington where we reside.   After having done extensive research into the company who previously owned the vehicle and commissioned it as a luxury coach service, I was satisfied with how the vehicle was maintained and cared for over the course of its’ life.  Knowing very little about any used car, my wife and I assumed the risk of purchasing such a vehicle.  We did NOT, however, assume the responsibility for not disclosing this branded title issue to the financial institutions; ergo, the problems that would follow for months to come without expectation of a firm resolute.    I would have never imagined that nearly one-half of a year would go by with this still hanging over our heads and if we had, we would have taken our business elsewhere.  Over time, the confusion of being pushed from 1. Salesperson to 2.Finance Director to 3. Operations Manager to General Sales manager to now another General Manager at a different location within the company has proven exhausting and extremely irritating.  The only reason we hadn’t turned our vehicle over and continued our car search elsewhere is because we simply enjoy our vehicle and don’t wish to initiate the car search and all the “fun” that comes with it.
As Mr. O[redacted] stated in the previous correspondence, my wife and I have conveyed our happiness with the terms by which we presented to Kuni previously.  I believe that the terms I presented should be offered, in full, regardless of the outcome.  I believe this, not out of my desire to take advantage of anyone (because I most definitely don’t) but because I believe that what we have been forced to undergo as a result of this, the terms including the $2,000.00 cash would be sufficient to rectify the situation.   To reiterate, I asked for the cash as a good faith that there were wrongs committed when the vehicle was purchased that caused us to search daily for a new vehicle, wonder if the car that we signed for would be the one we would end up with and most of all, this took time away from the very limited time that I do get with my family given my time commitments surrounding my active duty service to the U.S. Navy.   We asked for a two year full-coverage warranty but were only offered a one year full-coverage OR two year minimal coverage warranty due to the amount of mileage on the vehicle.   Mr. O[redacted] conveyed his respect for service members and their families (which we greatly appreciate) and claimed he wanted to make it “right.”  If this is the case, the sufficient resolve would be to
1. Provide the Gold and FULL COVERAGE Warranty for One year
2. Write to all credit agencies to clean up all extraneous inquiries made within the timeframe we and Kuni attempted to secure financing
3. Provide a check for $2,000.00 to cover any unforeseen expenses that may arise after the limited time-frame warranty expires
Again, I believe these fair and amicable to both parties involved and should be honored regardless of when [redacted] executes the loan for continuation under previously negotiated terms.   It is only fair that this is resolved with no more additional time expended than already has been.
I would like to thank the Revdex.com for stepping in to resolve this matter so we can all move on and be past this.
Very Respectfully,

Sometime in the month of June [redacted] called us and asked us to purchase the [redacted] Contract back. There reason was for a short time it was used as a "taxi" and that they don't finance those vehicles. We disclosed this at the time of purchase and the [redacted] were aware of the vehicles...

history. At the time our Finance Director (Tony A[redacted]), Operations Manager (Bob R[redacted]) and General Sales Manager (Cedric B[redacted]) partnered together to get the situation rectified. In looking back they all had different ideas on how to accomplish this task-take the vehicle back and refund the money, exchange for a different vehicle, or acquire another vehicle. Over time none of these options were acceptable. The [redacted] loved their vehicle and we couldn't find a suitable replacement that fit all their needs. On July 1, 2015, Tony left the company, later that month so did Bob and Cedric. That is when I took over this task. In speaking with Mr. [redacted] we offered to get him financing with [redacted] and transfer the loan balance. Unfortunately, [redacted] had an interest rate of 5.49% and the original contract was written at 2.24%. [redacted] then told me he had an approval at [redacted] for 2.99%. So to make him whole we proposed the following: 1}. Finance at his credit union and we would refund him the difference in payment between the 2.24% and the new 2.99% contracted rate. 2). Write the credit agencies on his behalf and attempt to get his inquiries removed. 3).Provide him with a one year GOLD warranty or 2 year SILVER warranty at no cost. Because of year and miles on the truck these were the maximum length/terms offered by the warranty company. This was our attempt of saying we were sorry for all of the confusion. Upon presentation of this to Mr. [redacted] he wanted all listed above and an additional $2000.00. Or keep his loan with [redacted]. We were and still are prepared to do this until I made one last ditch call to [redacted] to try and keep the loan as-is. As of today it is on the desk of an executive VP for an exception. I have been in touch with Mr. [redacted] and let him know but I can only move this so fast. All indications point to [redacted] making an exception but until we get it in writing we must wait. My proposal is to give us until August 10,2015 to get an answer from [redacted]. If they decline I will partner with Mr. [redacted] and abide by the original offer he proposed. Thank you for your time.
