We were and are months out on work but we did tell you since it was a small gazebo that we would try to squeeze you in We gave you the website so you could look at the shingle colors and you left us a voicemail asking if the Woodmoor collection shingles were appropriate because they are a wood shake appearance and you wanted to see what [redacted] thought about that On the contract it states that we were going to repair the tongue and groove which is the roof decking, you stated that damage was done because the roof wasn’t installed within a certain ***e frame so we would like to see the repair invoice to show what needed to be done It is a gazebo which is an outside structure so it is going to get weathered since it is not enclosed I am sorry but there are just too many inaccuracies with what you are saying As far as your leg being injured, we were informed that you did injure your leg but it was from walking your dog, so what you are doing is slander (Slander legal definition: noral defamation, in which someone tells one or more persons an untruth about another which untruth will harm the reputation of the person defamedSlander is a civil wrong (tort) and can be the basis for a lawsuit.) Unfortunately there is nothing else that we can do for you

Yes the contract was signed on 6/26/and we informed the customer that we are months out on work It wasn't until 7/28/that they chose a color and shingle When we received the color we informed the customer that it was a special order shingle and could take weeks to get in I myself and [redacted] spoke to the customer numerous ***es about when the roof was going to be installed I spoke to the customer on 9/28/to schedule the roof to be done on 10/2/and she said that day would not work for themWe delivered the shingles on 10/3/where the customer asked us to put them and told her we would be back the next morning to start work We received a phone call later that day saying they needed to hold off on doing the roof because the gazebo was falling apart and they did not know if they were going to do repairs or tear it down We told her that we could do the repairs or tear it down for them and she said she would let us know She then called back the next day and said she just wanted her money back but I informed her that since the material was special order and already ordered and delivered that there is a 40% restocking fee, 15% for our company and 25% for the material house When I spoke to her we talked about the options and she said no matter what she did she didn't want to do anything until spring of because the weather was going to start getting bad I informed her that we work year round and could do it this year but she said she wanted to wait We did give her the option of her keeping the shingles and giving her $back until spring if she had us do the work and she agreed to that I sent her an email so she could sign it agreeing to what we discussed but we never received it back We did not receive any email from the customer until I sent another email on 11/19/letting her know I still didn’t receive a response and then she responded to that email stating she hired another company Also the contract that was signed stated that we were repairing loose tongue & groove roof decking that was already an issue, so the gazebo already had issues that we are not responsible for The shingles were delivered where the customer told us to put them, we never leave material anywhere without permission There have been numerous phone conversations where she changed her mind about what she wanted done and delayed the roof installation as well We have been in business for over years and are a Revdex.com accredited business and have never had a problem or complaint until now and it just seems that she wants something else out of this Thank you, [redacted] ***

Regarding [redacted] ***' response to the above complaint, I was not told they were months out, if they were month out why did [redacted] say he could do it that weekend Also, if it took that long to order shingles on my part, it was because I had to wait for [redacted] to bring the brochures to select the shingles If they talked to me about the numerous dates roof would be installed, why wasn't it installedAgain, my contract stated a 15% restock charge, she said I had old contract When she spoke to me on 9/28/(she didn't speak to me, [redacted] did) to schedule the roof to be done on 10/2/16, she is saying I said that day would not work, That is incorrect, I said I would cancel our plans [redacted] said not to cancel plans, he could do it on 10/3/at 9:a.m No show, no call After numerous attempts to contact him, I left message that I wanted roof on then or my money back He arrived late afternoon to drop off shingles, saying he would be back 10/4/at 9:a.mto do roof Again, no show or call Called him late morning with no response I was tired of him telling me he would do the work and then not showing The gazebo did need some repair work, however, the tongue and groove was the least of the damage due to his delay The original email she sent was not received by me, therefore, I asked her to resend me the original email, which has not been received (because it was never sent until I initiated an email) I am tired of their lies and blaming me for the delays If they would have done the job on 10/4/16, the last of many dates they said it would be done, we would not have this issue now nor would I have I injured my leg If there is anything else that can be done to rectify this situation, I would appreciate it

Yes the contract was signed on 6/26/16 and we informed the customer that we are months out on work.   It wasn't until 7/28/16 that they chose a color and shingle.  When we received the color we informed the customer that it was a special order shingle and could take weeks to get in....

I myself and [redacted] spoke to the customer numerous [redacted]es about when the roof was going to be installed.  I spoke to the customer on 9/28/16 to schedule the roof to be done on 10/2/16 and she said that day would not work for them. We delivered the shingles on 10/3/16 where the customer asked us to put them and told her we would be back the next morning to start work.  We received a phone call later that day saying they needed to hold off on doing the roof because the gazebo was falling apart and they did not know if they were going to do repairs or tear it down.  We told her that we could do the repairs or tear it down for them and she said she would let us know.  She then called back the next day and said she just wanted her money back but I informed her that since the material was special order and already ordered and delivered that there is a 40% restocking fee, 15% for our company and 25% for the material house.  When I spoke to her we talked about the options and she said no matter what she did she didn't want to do anything until spring of 2017 because the weather was going to start getting bad.  I informed her that we work year round and could do it this year but she said she wanted to wait.  We did give her the option of her keeping the shingles and giving her $200 back until spring if she had us do the work and she agreed to that.  I sent her an email so she could sign it agreeing to what we discussed but we never received it back.  We did not receive any email from the customer until I sent another email on 11/19/16 letting her know I still didn’t receive a response and then she responded to that email stating she hired another company.  Also the contract that was signed stated that we were repairing loose tongue & groove roof decking that was already an issue, so the gazebo already had issues that we are not responsible for.  The shingles were delivered where the customer told us to put them, we never leave material anywhere without permission.  There have been numerous phone conversations where she changed her mind about what she wanted done and delayed the roof installation as well.  We have been in business for over 10 years and are a Revdex.com accredited business and have never had a problem or complaint until now and it just seems that she wants something else out of this.    Thank you, [redacted]
