We had a very positive experience with Alex Kolod. He was extremely meticulous about his work, showed up every day, and always checked with us to make sure we agreed with his plan. Our kitchen is absolutely beautiful and exactly how we pictured it when we met with him at the beginning. He had great suggestions and really knew his trade down to every last detail.
Alex Kolod remodeled both my bathrooms and kitchen. He was always extremely professional: ethical, hardworking, meticulous, timely, and flexible. Alex also continues to follow up after his work is finished, calling to make sure everything is in working order, and asking if we we're happy with the results of his work. He also has a terrific sense of humor. We will continue to call Alex for all our home projects. Alex is the best!

[redacted] work is what an actual homeowner would do if he knew how: not only does he do a PERFECT job, but he'll notice other issues that should be addressed and either deal with them himself (if small) or tell you what ought to be done about them. His workmanship is impeccable. Bear in mind, meticulous doesn't happen quickly. Doing work like that takes time, so if he's doing something you can't live without, like a bathroom, plan ahead. Also, he underestimated my job; he didn't believe the conditions he would uncover when he got into demolition were as bad as I described. We found him through a recommendation and would gladly recommend him to anyone we know.
Alex just finished renovating our 1/2 bath and I can't say enough positive things about our experience! I wasn't sure what I wanted regarding flooring, etc. and he worked with me and helped me decide the best materials for the space. Alex is a perfectionist - and that's a quality not often found in a contractor. When my sister saw our renovated bath she couldn't believe the transformation for the price we paid. Alex does amazing work!! Now I'm looking forward to the kitchen renovation :)
Al Kolod has completed several projects at our home. He is a real craftsman that does not cut corners. He really cares about delivering a quality project. He is very knowledgeable about all the various products that can be used for a wide variety of projects. He is extremely neat and trustworthy. When Al has completed a project, it looks great and is functional. His workmanship will add value to your home.
