Destroying a great legacy
After 13 years of loyalty to this company, Wagoner Ranch has finally called it quits. When we first started our customer relationship with Kuskie oil the owner was amazing! He was a GREAT and HONORABLE man. During our time while he was there we heard (and told) many stories about the owner and what a good man he was.
2-3 years ago he died, from what we understand he was taking care of his customers. Immediately there after boy did things change! We were run out of Propane within 2 months after his death (NEVER happened on his watch). His son rick (?) eventually delivered to us (after the outage fried the mother board on our furnace, which WE paid for and did NOT hold them liable) and promised us we would "NEVER run dry again".
Since then we had to call them every month to make sure they delivered...we send them 200-300 monthly winter AND summer to make sure they are paid...in the winter occasionally we are behind ($900 or so) in the summer we are often way ahead on credit (which on the last 2 years is often overlooked until we fight to prove it).
Today we ran out of heat. Didn't know why as we had sent them $200 March 1st, and 300-500 in January. We were "on their route" so I didn't worry. After fighting with the furn ace I went out and checked the tank...sure enough...dry. I called and told them at 12:45 pm. They asked when they would receive a payment and I responded "this month, same as last month, and always"
At 4:30 my wife called to see when they would be here. Susan informed her they would not be here but maybe tomorrow if we pay 1/2 up front. WTH?
I called to bring to thier attention we haven't had a problem in 13 YEARS! I was told they are "changing policy" and this is what they do now! We were NEVER even called OR notified! They just left us to run out of heat! Susan said "we have notes we tried to call you 🤣🤣🤣
Nope, no call, no message, nothing. I advised her they are running this business into the ground that Butch had worked and dedicated his life too!
We NO LONGER recommend Kuskie oil to ANYONE and ABSOLUTELY recommend SAPP BROTHERS or FRENCHMAN VALLEY CO OP if you don't wish to be left out in the cold!
Susan, when your family is starving and wishing they had beef or bacon, I will remember...and I will feed them...sleep well...

The issue began in December 2018, with their employee James, who is assigned as a propane gas delivery driver, for their western Nebraska branch. I contacted the owner in January 2019, with the ignorant, and obnoxious behavior of James. He reassured me he would talk to James, and end the nonsense. That didnt happen. Everytime I place an order with Kuskie Oil to deliver propane to my residence, James wants to play silly little child like games, and delay my delivery due to the fact that I reported him to Kuski Oil. I contacted Debbie on Feb 11, 2019, in which she stated she would contact James to deliver my propane. On Feb 19, 2019, I contacted Debbie a second time, and she stated that she had spoken with James twice. On Feb 20, 2019, I advised Debbie that I was filing a formal complaint, and she stated ahe definately understood. I feel that James is not safe to be delivering explosive fuels, due to an obvious break down in his mental health stability. A grown adult who would choose to play obnoxious games with a customer could potentially be a danger. James does not even respect his fellow employees, when they make a request for a delivery. Kuskie Oil has other delivery drivers in their western Nebraska region, that I feel are better suited for my deliveries. No customer should ever ever be treated with the ignorant level of conduct that James brings!

We regret that one customer out of more than 2000 customers has had a problem with one of our drivers. We realize that mistakes do happen but our drivers make every effort to get to their customers in a timely fashion. Unfortunately, this woman did not report the incident to a supervisor or to myself (owner) who would have looked into her complaint at the time. She states that she talked to 'Debbie' who is just one of the office girls that answer the incoming phone calls. After receiving your letter, I spoke to James, the driver, who told me he has no grudges with this woman but had received a phone call or e-mail from her in the middle of the night demanding delivery. Apparently, James' wife did not take kindly to a customer calling in the middle of the night. James did deliver propane to Ms. on February 19, 2019.We will be most happy to send one of the other drivers to Ms. or she is welcome to transfer to a different vendor if she so desires.Sincerely,Duane Kuskie (Owner)Kuskie Oil Company

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: I absolutely never called James or any other individual in the middle of the night for any reason what so ever! Please validate this false accusations. I have in my possession ALL text msgs sent to James and James to me. Furthermore, you have had other complaints from customers, and I am in the process of getting documents from them to submit to the Revdex.com as well. Shame on you for lying to the Revdex.com, and accepting James' lies. Yes I did speak to your manager and read him the text msgs. I will be forwarding the copies of the text msgs so they can be made public!

Regards

Sorry ***, if you were not the person who called him in the middle of the night. I am in error. However this complaint of yours towards our driver is unjust and untrue. James does a great job delivering propane. He always tries to get to the customers who are the lowest first so they will not run out of propane and be cold with the weather as it is. You can run him down all you want but it will not cause us to terminate him or make us think better of you. The old saying is "You need to sweep your own doorstep before you dirty another persons." Again I recommend you find a different vendor if you are so disappointed with our driver. He has also requested that you stop sending him text messages.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: Facts are facts! Honesty always prevails. I requested a different driver as I do not trust James at all. I do not have an issue with your business directly, only your driver James. Please be advised that James' employment status with your company is of zero concern to me. I did not file this complaint to influence anyones employment status, but to seek a resolutuon that is based on the facts, and to support my request for a different driver. I wont argue about untruths, I will only confirm the facts. James was blocked from contacting me, and that has been documented as well. Dont be quick to discredit my complaint. Its always a good business practice to be objective in dealing with issues that arise. Being quick to attack and judge a person for their complaint does not serve a business well. I brought the facts forward, and do not deserve to be attacked by you. Ive been wrongfully targeted, and falsely accused for being honest. You may want to give that some much needed thought.

Regards
