Review: I hired Custom Design Landscape to install a new front and backyard patio complete with new pavers and paver walkway leading to the front door, a 25' X 12' backyard alumawood patio cover, a 32' X 8' front yard alumawood patio cover, backyard seating wall, 7' built-in BBQ enclosure, front and backyard irrigation system, stucco backyard wall, two vinyl wall enclosures with doors,two AC unit vinyl wall enclosures, cement on the south side of the house, sod installation, and all permits needed to complete construction at or under the $38,565 price quoted. This project started on March 17, 2014 and not one of the above listed projects have been completed. Some items like the irrigation and the stucco wall have started, but have yet to be completed. No permits have been pulled, and I have contacted the contractors [redacted] and his partner [redacted] through phone and text message numerous times to ask about the progress and when the project will be completed. I have a phone record log and text messages indicating their lack of response to my messages sometimes taking 3 to 4 days to respond back to me. Their professionalism in the matter is non-existent because the people they hire are complaining about their lack of payment and are unable to pay for the materials needed to get the job done. The workers have no sense of direction on the project because they are never at the job site and unable to provide the workers with the direction they need to get the job done correctly. I hired a contractor so that I wouldn't have to be the one directing others on what to do, but I find myself doing this constantly. Please let me know of the next steps to take regarding this matter.Desired Settlement: I would like Custom Design Landscapes to be more punctual and provide me with more details regarding the progress on the project. I would like Custom Design Landscapes to provide their workers with the compensation they earned as well as the materials they need to get the job done. If they feel they cannot provide me with the items requested I would like to terminate my contract with Custom Design Landscapes and be refunded $15,000 of the over $19,000 already provided.

Review: DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH [redacted] OR [redacted]. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, NUMEROUS MISTAKES. THEY WILL CALL YOU EVERYDAY AS LONG AS THEY ARE COLLECTING THEIR MONEY, AFTER THAT, GOOD LUCK. I PAID THEM ON TIME ALWAYS BUT ALMOST ALL THEIR WORKERS COMPLAINED THEY DID NOT GET PAID. I HAD TO CALL, ORGANIZE AND PAY THEIR WORKERS IN CASH IN ORDER TO KEEP THE WORK GOING. I SUPERVISED AND WORKED MY BUTT OFF WHEN I DIDN'T THINK I HAD TO WHEN I HIRED THESE SLACKERS. TERRIBLE WORKMANSHIP, UNFINISHED WORK, LEFT DANGEROUS MESSES AROUND MY WHOLE HOUSE FOR MONTHS, OPEN PAINT CANS AND BRUSHES EVERYWHERE, LOTS OF MIXED CEMENT JUST LEFT TO DRY IN WHEEL BARROWS AND ALL OVER THE GROUND. THEY WOULD LEAVE A MESS AND I HAD TO CLEAN AND THROW ALL CEMENT AND TRASH AWAY AFTER THEY WORKED. BROKE AND MESSED UP A LOT OF MY PERSONAL TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT. THEY WILL SEND A WORKER THAT DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HE'S DOING JUST TO SAY THEY SENT SOMEONE. CALL ME PERSONALLY AND I WILL SHOW AND TELL YOU MANY OTHER THINGS THEY NEVER FINISHED AND DID WRONG, AND I HAVE WITNESSES THAT WILL ATTEST TO THIS NIGHTMARE. I WARNED THEM FOR MONTHS THAT I WAS GOING TO WRITE IN TO THE Revdex.com WITH A COMPLAINT - THEY DIDN'T SEEM TO CARE, THEY GOT THEIR MONEY. Review: A two week project ...still ongoing been over 9 weeks!!! The worst communication I have ever dealt with! they have failed to fulfill obligations of the contract without a justifiable, lawful excuse. Have failed to complete this project by the contract completion date and again on a second date which they provided, Have failed to submit a written schedule, failed to show up when scheduled, failed to show up at the work site on a regular basis, failure to communicate, failure to try and resolve issues, failure to go over project and discuss concerns. No show after no show, excuse after excuse....have tried throughout entire process to work with Gill and he is not capable of communication......tired of trying....:(Desired Settlement: for them to finish the job asap.

Review: Contractor has abandoned job and work is incomplete. Quality of the work that has been performed is not satisfactory.

This is a backyard/pool remodel repair project. Project had several elements including concrete re-pour and concrete repairs. Pool tile and coping redo and addition of fire-pit area and new gates and fences. Patio cover was also to be installed. The pool was without water for so long it developed a crack.Desired Settlement: Finish the job per the contract.
