Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:The young man stood right there in front of the secretary and my daughter and stated that he could have broke the windshield as he had pounded really hard on the bushings The window had no crack before going into their shop but had one that looks like it was hit with a hammer when it left If you look at the pictures included you will see that the crack begins under the rubber seal

Sir, On June 22, 2015 Mrs. [redacted] came in to the shop office and wanted us to look at her vehicle and see  what needed to be done to her doors.  At that time she had stated that sometime in the winter she slid off the road and hit her drivers door and it had been hard to open/close ever since.  Our body guy looked at the car and felt that pins and bushings were needed to repair the vehicle doors.  If there was any welding that needed to be done we would call her prior to doing that so she could approve additional repairs and expense.  So before she left the office we set up an appointment for Friday June 25,2015.  I  was working in the morning  of  June 25 but took the afternoon off.  When the car arrived at the shop I noticed the cracked windshield before the replacement of the pins and bushings.  Our body guy did have a difficult time removing the pins out of that door.  When the repairs were complete on both doors of her 2001 [redacted], the secretary called Mrs. [redacted] to let her know she could pick up her car at anytime.  She paid for the repairs  when she picked up the vehicle.   When she came back later that day  it was just the body guy at the shop.  The office secretary had stepped out to run errands.  The body guy did look at the vehicle windshield and was unsure if he had done the damage.  When the secretary got back to the office she and the body guy looked at the crack before she entered the office at that time the body guy stated to her that he did not notice the crack during the repair and he did not feel or hear any crack when he was removing pins and bushings.  Mrs. [redacted]  was told that if we had in fact broke the glass we would replace it.  The secretary scheduled her in on July 3 so if needed she would have a appointment.  On Monday June 29, 2015 when I  was back in the office I  was told about the broken windshield.  I immediately knew what side was cracked without the secretary telling me.  The secretary brought that to my attention after we received the letter from Revdex.com.    After our conversation  concluded I  called Mrs. [redacted] and told her the glass was cracked prior to the repairs on the vehicle.   I  also told Mrs. [redacted] at that time to bring the vehicle by and I could show her it was a rock chip and not something that happened while in the shop.  She did not bring the vehicle by so I  felt like the matter had been resolved and then to my dismay this letter for the Revdex.com arrived on July 10, 2015. Garret K[redacted], Owner Kustom Koach Works1901 Robertson AveWorland, WY 82401307.347.9310307.347.9564 Fax

We have the vehicle in the shop today to replace windshield andmolding.  As I tried to explain this crack that we supposedly caused is notour fault at all.  I will include pics to prove my point.  We are fixing thewindshield at no cost to the owner, but it was a old hit.  Whatever hit herwindshield it hard enough that it cracked the molding on the outside aswell.  So taking out and replacing door pins and bushing would not havecaused the break.  I have also taken pics (41) of the entire vehicle as soonas it arrived in the shop this morning.Garret K[redacted], OwnerKustom Koach Works1901 Robertson AveWorland, WY 82401307.347.9310307.347.9564 fax
