We gave the client the exact amount that they requestedWe have email proof of the conversations and contracts and much of what she is saying is simply untrueWe complied from beginning to end of everything she wanted us to do including the exact amount she asked us to returnEverything is backed up in writingShe cancelled the contract, we returned the money and are moving on but this client is making it her mission to smear our name anywhere and everywhere she canWe have moved on when we refunded her and she cancelled her contractIt is unfortunate that she is determined in ruining the reputation of a hard-working father of kidsBoth her husband and [redacted] have said due to her OCD nothing was acceptableThey are going to have an extremely hard time finding someone that can work with this type of personalityAs our contract states we would have NEVER left the job or asked to be paid until our client was 100% happyUnfortunately they cancelled the job withoutEver giving Kustomz the chance to complete the job to their satisfaction which we would have happily done

Good morningMr [redacted] did in fact hire me to do some work and his homeAt the time that mr [redacted] hired me, I did have a larger crew and we were getting jobs done fairly quicklyHowever, I was not having personal issues as he stated, but instead was delayed in scheduling due to employee issuesBy the time we finally pushed through the jobs that has been booked prior to Mr [redacted] 's, I only had my one crew member leftThis crew member has been with me for years and in that time has proven over and over again to me and to our clients that he is responsible, skilled, dependable, professional, and trustworthyDuring the scheduling delays I had also been in touch with mr [redacted] via email to keep him posted on schedulingHe began getting frustrated and so I sent over my experience employee to begin his job as I finished up another one period a couple days later I was able to join him up mr [redacted] 's residentsWe began getting to work on everything that was laid out in the contract and at that time I began doing other things for mr [redacted] that were never included in the contract that he agreed for me to just send him an additional invoice for in which I did and that is still unpaidI have also finished half the things on the contract and so there will be no need to return any deposit because we spent a lot of time labor and material money already on this projectMore so than his original deposit paid forI need to also mentioned that this seems to be a habit for mr [redacted] with contractorsUnfortunately sometimes in this line of business we meet those who are in it just to take advantage of usAfter being in his residence we were met with one obstacle after another in order to finish the jobAs laid out in the contract we should have been able to complete the job within the business hours of a.mto p.mUnfortunately though mr [redacted] and his wife work odd hours and many days we were not even allowed in the residenceOften, once in the residence the daughter would not even let us upstairs because mr [redacted] and his wife were sleepingAlso every single night after I would get home to my family, I would be hit with repeated texts and emails from him that were pages long telling me what a terrible job we were doingIt became harassment and criticism that I just could not take anymore and I don't believe any human could.it became quite clear to us that mr [redacted] had done this to several contractors before us as he had mentioned and even shown us the work of many different contractors that had been in and out of his residence he mentioned to us he wasn't sure why he couldn't keep contractors thereNow after this debacle it seems quite clearI will be sending an invoice that lays out all of the work we did and how much that cost so there is no confusion on the fact that we do not need to return any money because his deposit money was already spent on labor and material that was already done thereAnd all of my work I have never had a review of bad quality and that is a completely bogus accusationI would really love to resolve this matter and a cordial way

I am rejecting this response because: Our intention is not to ruin the reputation of a hard working father, but to inform other perspective clients of our experience. I have attached some pictures of the trim work that started this issue. Shawns statement about "OCD" should NOT be confused with expecting professional work. After having to fix the trim, finish the other repairs he didn't start, and get our house painted ourselves, we will be pursuing a full refund of our remaining  deposit amount of $1200.
