The client *** *** violated the terms of service when he fabricated statements in his support ticket that he was promised by our phone support that he would receive a full refund on the day he made the requestThe terms of service states, "Cancellation of KVCHosting Services must be put in written formatKVCHosting will review and confirm required information upon receipt of the notification and inform client of cancellation of account in writing, usually through email." Phone support informed Mr*** that his request needed to be submitted in writing to the appropriate department, and that billing would make the final decision on his request and he needed to await their response
During that span of time, support continued to assist Mr*** about the frontpage extension that existed on his server, even going as far as offering him aid in the form of remote access, which he then declined and started again insisting on a refundInstead of awaiting his response from the billing department, he then insisted that the charge was fraudulent with his bank, Farmer's and Merchant Visa, on the same day of February 10, The bank moved his claim to the dispute department after we, KVC Hosting, informed them of the situationMr*** then continued to update his support ticket with demands of a refund, and statements that phone support promised him a refundPhone support never made this promise, as they are not able to make any decisions on cancellations or refund requestsThis is again stated under the cancellation portion of our terms of serviceMr*** also stated that his support tickets were being deleted, but they were in fact forwarded to higher administration to support his many frequent and contrasting requests

I worked diligently with KVC's tech supportI tried opening my Front Page program on other computers and by using a different ISPI am not obligated by the terms of service to allow someone to wander around and possibly modify my computer remotelyAfter sending several screen shots of the issues I was having, KVC offered no alternative approach to resolve the problem beyond wanting access to my computer
The statement that I was to receive a refund came from KVC by way of Loana (Loren?) at my bank's bankcard department when she spoke to themShe was told by KVC (Carry?) that the refund would be processed in to days(It's in her notes on her computer.) This is why I waited this period of time for the refund to come through - which it didn'tAfter days, my bank called again and spoke to *** and then ***, who denied it was promisedI view this as KVC went back on it's word
Furthermore, KVC shut down my access to the Support Ticket (deleting it?) If it was still available it would show that I worked with Tech support a day or so past my 12pm desired refund timeThe Tech Support Ticket would show I was nothing other than cooperative up to the point of KVC wanting access to my computer by remoteI did not harass or pose unnecessary problems in the course of trying to get the issue resolvedMy entire Ticket conversation with Tech Support was nothing other than cordial and matter of fact
Also, KVC deleted my account without my prior permissionI was surprised it was goneI suddenly had no means of continuing to communicate with the KVC or continuing to try to get Front Page to workI did not direct them to cancel the account by email or by phoneThey took it upon themselves to delete it - and without my permission or prior knowledgeMy access and support ticket would still otherwise still be availableI feel that all they did was "react" when they found out I had contacted Revdex.com
When I first contacted KVC support, I stated that Front Page wasn't workingEven though their web site says "All Plans Include Front Page Extention 2000/2002" Their response was that it wasn't on the serverTech Support supposedly installed it but it continued to not work here
This was not a fake issue as they are accusingI have friends who use KVC hosting (at my recommendation) and I have no problem accessing and editing their pages using the same Front Page program from the same computerThis tells me since Front Page was not originally installed on my assigned server that the problem remained at KVC's end
By their refusing to give me a refund, I look at it as tantamount to theft...at least it feels that way as I received no satisfaction in the couple of days I remained subscribed to their years of serviceThey just took my money and shut me down
