Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because there are some problems with [redacted] claimI will admit I was upset when I called Kwik Kar to discuss repairs to the radiator; had they simply checked under the car they would have seen it was leaking transmission fluid at the radiator lineHowever, [redacted] claims that I used vulgar and profane language are incorrectThroughout the call, I informed [redacted] that I would file fraudulent charges against the shop if they refused to fix the problem [redacted] never gave me the chance to have Kwik Kar fix the problem because he hung up on me It should also be noted that I could not immediately take the car back to the shop since all the transmission fluid had leaked outFurthermore, [redacted] has hung up on me on all of the phone calls I have had with him I was finally able to get the car to another shop, [redacted] [redacted] confirmed the radiator was defective [redacted] also discovered that the condenser fan assembly had been damaged when the radiator was replaced and that the mechanic had tried to put it back together with duct tapeAfter hearing this, I decided I did not want Kwik Kar touching my car again and had [redacted] fix the carI was sad and disheartened that Kwik Kar would damage my car and not own up to their mistakeI had to pay an additional $to fix the condenser assembly Kwik Kar of Western Center installed a defective radiator, destroyed my condenser fan assembly and tried to cover it up, hung up on me when I called to try and resolve the problem, and finally, accused me of using vulgar and profane language to justify how they treated me on the phone Regards, [redacted]

We are writing in response to the complaint the Revdex.com receivedThe complainant brought their vehicle Into Kwik Kar on January 10, The complainant voiced concerns of their vehicle overheating and requested a vehicle diagnosticThe Mechanic on duty completed the diagnostic and determined it was the radiator that was causing the vehicle to overheat.The mechanic work was completed end the car was test drove to ensure the work was completed properlyThe complainant was informed of the warranty for the vehicle part and mechanic labor when paying for the repairsThe warranty consisted of months or 6,miles whichever comes first for labor and a lifetime warranty for the radiatorThe Mechanic Informed the complainant as we tell all customers if you feel the vehicle is still not running properly please bring it back and we will recheck it.When the complainant contacted us about his vehicle, the complainant was very irate end used profane language when discussing the matter with the Shop ManagerThe Shop Manager Informed the complainant on several occasions during the call that they would need to bring the car back to the shop and have it recheckedThe complainant continued to use vulgar language during the call not seeming to want to resolve the matter civilly the Shop Manager disconnected the phone callThis prevented us from resolving the matter amicably.Kwik Kar prides itself in providing exceptional customer service and quality mechanic work and in this Instance would have ensured the complainant's vehicle was repaired accordingly if given the opportunity, The Mechanic would have attempted to repair the vehicle if it was related to the car part we replacedIf the Mechanic could not repair the vehicle we would have contracted the work out to another mechanic shop.We truly apologize to the complainant for any inconvenience this may have caused but we were never given the opportunity to repair the vehicleThank you for your time and allowing us the opportunity to provide a response to the complaint

On the of 11-10-I took my car to kwik kar western center I drop off my car to get a oil change I picked up my car paid for the oil change and asked did you fill all the fluids and change the oil filter he replied yes a week later I was driving to work the oil light came on and my car engine turned off while I was driving I was not to far from home I had to push the car two block to get it home come to find out their was no oil filter or no oil in my car my husband called kwik kar and told them what had happened that he wanted to talk to a manager the guy told him to call back he called back several times got different people they giving us the run around so I went to kwik kar to tell them what happened they were rude said their is nothing they can do I told them its not right that was my car to get back and forth to work I was out of a car that they need to fix it I said trust you that this is not right that car is my living and that was a great car they were rude told me to ge

I took my Buick Enclave to this facility for a simple oil change When I returned home I discovered my vehicle was leaking oil onto my driveway Since this has never happened in any of the previous oil changes, I returned to the Kwik Kar to report it They inspected the problem and returned to say the oil filter needed to wiped off After I left, I later discovered oil was still leaking onto my driveway I returned a second time to have them look at it again and this time they gave another reason which didn't make sense I'm now having to take my vehicle to a mechanic to find out what they did wrong When I brought this problem to the attention of the manager, he became argumentative and rude My husband contacted the business to speak with the owner, but the owner refused to talk to him

Had my radiator replacedThe person who replaced it did not test to see if the car was working properly after installing the radiatorThe transmission cooler line at the radiator is leaking due to a defective radiatorKwik Kar refuses to work with me and *** hung up on me when I tried to resolve the issue

Throughout the call, I informed [redacted] that I would file fraudulent charges against the shop if they refused to fix the problem. [redacted] never gave me the chance to have Kwik Kar fix the problem because he hung up on me.
It should also be noted that I could not immediately take the car back to the shop since all the transmission fluid had leaked out. Furthermore, [redacted] has hung up on me on all of the phone calls I have had with him.
I was finally able to get the car to another shop, [redacted]. [redacted] confirmed the radiator was defective. [redacted] also discovered that the condenser fan assembly had been damaged when the radiator was replaced and that the mechanic had tried to put it back together with duct tape. After hearing this, I decided I did not want Kwik Kar touching my car again and had [redacted] fix the car. I was sad and disheartened that Kwik Kar would damage my car and not own up to their mistake. I had to pay an additional $176.80 to fix the condenser assembly.
Kwik Kar of Western Center installed a defective radiator, destroyed my condenser fan assembly and tried to cover it up, hung up on me when I called to try and resolve the problem, and finally, accused me of using vulgar and profane language to justify how they treated me on the phone.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  Although I feel they should also pay the cost to clean all the oil spilled all over my engine.  I wont press this issue any further.  A refund of the initial charge is sufficient.
