The store on ***) caused over $800 in damage to my vehicle. I had my oil changed on Sept 11, 2019, it was a Full Synthetic oil change. I reached the mileage necessary to do another change. I live 80 miles away from that store now and went to Kwik Kar in Gun Barrell City, Texas. They could not remove the oil cooler cover as it was torque to tight and had fused to the cooler (verified by three different oil change locations). A week after the repair was made I was able to take the vehicle back to the Euless store and explained to the manger the damage that his tech caused. The manager failed to honor Kwik Kar’s 12 months or 12,000 miles guarantee. The manager was extremely rude, disrespectful, and just walked away from the conversation. His only argument was that his brother (the tech that caused the damage) could not have made that mistake therefore, they aren’t responsible. It was a simple oil change. It's clearly their fault and they did not care. His main response was "not my problem". Not professional or ethical.

After having my vehicle serviced at Kwik Kar Euless on 11/23/18, my wife took the car to the airport (Love Field). I walked into the garage to find oil that had collected on my concrete floor. My wife returned late Sunday evening, she parked in the garage again. We did a little running around on Monday. When we returned I found more oil on the garage floor. I returned to Kwik Kar Monday afternoon, the Manager had the car checked out, they took it to a cleaning facility across the parking lot & cleaned the undercarriage. They never informed me the vehicle was found to be 1 and 1/2 quarts of oil low. Which I was informed at a later time. They assured me everything was good & sent me on my way. They agreed to send an employee out the following day to clean the oil up on my garage floor. The vehicle was parked on the street Monday night. Kwik Kar’s employee showed up @ 9:00am. My wife left in the vehicle shortly after his arrival. The employee began cleaning my garage floor by pouring muriatic acid from a gallon bottle directly on the concrete. I went to check the street where the vehicle was parked to find even more oil. When I returned to my garage I saw what the muriatic acid was doing to the concrete finish, I halted the cleaning process! My wife returned with the vehicle per my request & again I returned to Kwik Kar. The employee had informed me that when I was there yesterday, they found the oil level 1 and 1/2 quarts low. I let them know they needed to start at the beginning, drain the fluid & see what is causing the oil to leak. ***, the employee that was sent to clean my floor did the service. He found a washer on the drain plug that had been re-used & this was the cause of the oil leak. I’ve been in contact with a person I was told to be the District Manager, ***. There have been appointments scheduled to have my floor looked at, cleaned etc. To which none have been fulfilled. He scheduled to have a someone come out to pressure wash the floor, they didn’t make the scheduled time. *** said they were running late. We set up a time the following day for them & *** for the following day, which was cancelled because I told ***, it might clean the floor, but it won’t fix what the muriatic acid had damaged. I’ve made several calls , texts & return visits to get this resolved. I can’t get the owners name, to which I do find out that *** is not the District Manager, but he & another person (***) are in fact the owners. *** informed me that my claim has been closed & there is nothing they intend to do... I returned to Kwik Kar to get the owners name (first & last) off the business license or certificate of occupancy to find that information is in the prior owners name still. I’m wanting this info for a possible Small Claims suit.

I had my truck serviced on 6 Dec 2017 with total miles of 162,190 for cooling system flush and rear differential fluid change. On 28 May 2018 on a return trip from Houston, the rear differential fill plug fell out of the cover without my knowledge. This was noted after arriving home in Euless after the 300 mile trip. I noted that the entire back of the truck was covered in differential oil and that the plug was missing. The only explanation being that it had been hand tightened during the service.
I called the Kwik Kar on 29 May 2018 and talked with a ***. He offered to come to my house after work and fill the differential and put a plug in, so that the vehicle could be driven the mile to the business location. Nobody came to the house on the 29th to perform this. On the 30th I brought the truck to the Kwik Kar to discuss the issue with the ***. At that time the *** tried to justify that the plug would have fallen out much earlier that 6 months or the 6,428 miles that the truck had operated in that time period. He said that the 12,000 mile 12 month warranty stated on the receipt was for parts only. Nowhere on the receipt does it state this. It states “No refunds, ***s must be informed of any concern about repair work ALL WORK IS WARRANTIED 12 MONTHS OR 12,000 Miles”.
The *** then stated that he would file the complaint with corporate, and that it may take up to 7 days for a response. At that time I asked for the phone number and for a complaint tracking number. The *** became irate and asked me why I needed it. I responded that I would use it to follow up with corporate. At this time I was accused of being irate and unreasonable, and that I had probably sabotaged my own vehicle. The second *** then asked to talk to me outside, and we discussed the issue again. This conversation did not go any better, but he asked me to leave the vehicle so that they could remove the differential cover the next day to investigate. I agreed with the terms only if they would call me prior to work being performed so that I could be present. I returned on the 31st at 3:30 PM, and no work had been started. I was told that they would probably not have time until the 1st of June. I then stated that I was going to take my vehicle to another shop to inspect it for damage. Between all of the accusations on my character and their response to the issue, I no longer trusted them. I attempted to find a corporation phone number for Kwik Kar, only to find out that each shop is privately owned. One of the employees and a customer then informed me that *** was the ***, which I will verify with the City. After 14 years of patronizing this business, never having a claim in the past. I will never use this business location again, they are abrasive, rude and make unfounded accusations blaming the customer.
