Business states that an employee had copied down the incorrect license plate number.  He is no longer pursuing payment from the consumer.

I am responding to your correspondence concerning a customer indicating she was charged on her
Chase WI Child Support card on 7/14/14.
I researched the card transaction and the first attempt to run the charge was for $31.16. This

put on hold by the card Issuer. The hold is released by the
card issuer. The merchant cannot remove the hold.
A second transaction was charged for $7.56; then a return was done for $5.46. So the card ended up
being charged $2.10: a purchase of iced coffee for $2.99 minus a $1.00 rebate plus tax of $0.11=$2.10.
We have attempted to call the customer on 8/1/14 and again on 8/4/14 leaving messages requesting
the amount of the NSF charge she indicates she received as we are offering to reimburse her for this
expense. We have not received a return call as of 8/4/14.
