I am rejecting this response because:The problem has not been resolved I have recieved a check but it is not for near enough to buy me a new wheelMy wheels went into L&m in perfect condition & left the shop with damages; the shop should be responsible or shouldn't have proceeded with work they could not complete Hitting dollar wheels with a rubber hammer shouldn't have happened to begin withYeah, maybe on cheaper wheels but not dollar wheelsI have tons of pictures for proof of the damages which in fact are larger then a finishing nail headNever once did *** or any other employee at this business ever ask me to leave the shop nor did I ever yell profanity I have witnesses from each of the days I walked in thereYes, I was crying but who wouldn't in the position I am in It still makes me wanna cry to this day since noting has been done about the damaged wheelAny replicable business would replace any damages done considering it was done on their property , under their shop, by a l&m techAll I want is the remaining money so I can purchase a new wheelThe only reason I accepted the check was so I had a written document & so I wasn't out of even more money in the end The $is a discounted price from where I purchased the wheel originallyBeing nice enough to give a discounted, quote *** still denied to replace I'm already out $now because I only recieved $340+ the dropped mount and balanceI shouldn't have to pay $of my own money when my wheel was damaged by l&mI asked for receipts stating that my mount and balance charge was dropped & *** denied along with him denying me anything written .receipt/ documentsMy only chance at any kind of evidence was THAT CHECK.
About the *** stuff, yes I did go on *** and I rated your business just as any person is aloudI also have proof of that which shows no profanityIt was a warning to everyone that l&m does not honor their workIt's *** which allows a rating of 1-stars and an explanation as to what you thinkThat is exactly what I didI can't control what other people have to say but never once did I threaten l&m.
I have proof of everything ! Anything you need I haveAll I'm asking for is the remaining $and all of this will be completely settled for good; Done and over with.

[redacted] came to our store to receive mount and balance on March 18th 2014 LM did do the mount and balance work perfect as we do for all our customers with the best tire mounting machines and balancers in the industry.Here at LM Tire and Wheel we have highly trained techs with 10 years plus...

experience.  The incident in question that [redacted] became upset is when the tech popped the center cap on the wheel to finish the service. The tech did use a rubber head mallet to assist inpopping the center cap on which is common practice in inserting centers on wheels when the center caps needs pop in. The tiny flakes the size of a finishing nail head came off I [redacted] general manager was called up to the garage to inspect the missing flakes after looking at the wheel and inspecting the three other wheels that did not have centers installed yet by are tech there was also small flakes  missing  on the edges of the center cap holes I explained to the customer that this was not done by negligence but is a naturalprocesses with pop in centers  and that this will happen to the rest of the wheels over time she became hysterical she began crying and saying profanity. I told [redacted] that we value our customers and our high reputation for quality work that I would try my best to make this right but only from a stand point of customer relations not because we damaged her wheel do to negligence. She still was unable to control her emotions so I asked her to leave and come back tomorrow on the 19th when she could speak to me in a professional and adult manner. [redacted] did return to our store on the 19th with a quote for a brand new wheel which was estimated at 673.00 dollars I explained to her that she brought a used set of wheels into the store the wheel in question was used so I pro-rated the wheel like anynormal warranty replacement I offered [redacted] 300.00 to replace the wheel because I felt that was considerably  more than the wheel is worth because custom wheels used typically sell for 50 to 75 dollars she became hysterical again and I asked her what more  I could do  to make this right she asked if I could at least pay 400.00 dollars of the replacement cost I accepted the offer and so did [redacted] she received a check for 340.00 dollars and I waved the labor charge which is typically 60.00 which in total is 400.00. After receivingthe check she left the store and proceeded to go on are [redacted] account for LM and used profanity also had  her friends get on with her comment and slander and make threats of burning our business down along with inappropriate pictures mocking our staff and techs which we found offensive and threating.  I truly feel I tried my best to take care of the compliant and have [redacted] the upmostrespect and curtsey while staying professional thank you Revdex.com for the opportunity for both party’s to voice our opinions on this matter and will respect any advice you may give in this matter sincerely

Review: Im so heartbroken over this that they treat customers this way. On Tuesday, March 18, 2014 L&M Tire & Wheel in [redacted], PA damaged my $3000+ [redacted] wheels. I was a returning customer of them because last April 2013 they did a mount and balance on these wheels when they were brand new and they did them spotless, no issues. I told them countless times along with my father that the wheels cannot be damaged as they are one of a kind. I returned on the 18th of March to change out my old tires for my brand new ones. I was in there at around 4:15pm with my father. Waited around for awhile because they were busy. Before damage happened, a tech who was not in charge of changing my tires came over because he remembered me from before & he was talking about how good of care I take of my wheels. (taking them off for the winter time.) and how I only had them on the car for a total of 4.5 months. Damage's happened around the 5:30-5:40pm time frame. I have pictures of damages done along with a GPS address showing my first pictures of damages at at this shop. Tech went a got manager to inspect, then they went and got [redacted] which is the general manager. He studied the damage and tried telling us that it was not their fault, it was the center cap of the wheels fault and kept sticking to this story also saying that the center caps WOULD NOT hand press in which I know this is not true. The tech didn't think my center cap was in right so he just kept beating it with a rubber hammer which is what caused the chipping. One, $3000 wheels should not even be near a rubber hammer. [redacted] insisted that all damages would be taken care of. He even shook my fathers hand and said "you have my word this is a 3.5 million dollar businesss." Next he said "check with this specific paint shop ([redacted]) & get a quote on fixing the wheel." I asked him for paperwork stating that he would take care of the situation since they were closing. He denied to give me any documentation. Me and my father left. At 7pm the same evening, I called the police and they told me to get documentation. later that night I called [redacted] (the official wheel company) they told me that the wheel is unfixable because the finish is so rare. Now knowing that this mistake should have never happened & they should have never touched my wheel with a rubber mallet, I proceeded to put the remaining 3 center caps in myself before bed since I keep my wheels in my room. I am a female and I had NO ISSUES putting the center caps in myself , HAND PRESSING them in. First thing next morning, me and my mother go to [redacted] to see what they say about it. They said they would not touch the wheel because you cannot replicate the finish on the wheel. I talked to two people there who said the same thing. Now, we went directly back to L&M. I showed him my receipt of how much I paid for the wheels along with phone numbers from [redacted] & [redacted] which is who I ordered the wheels thru. [redacted] stated to get an estimate on what a new wheel would cost. To save him money, I said I would look into a quote on just the face of the wheel since my wheels are 3 piece. He made copy of my receipt & attempted to call [redacted] but they were closed considering their time its only 7am. He said that when I get the estimates/quotes to email him them and a new wheel or new face of the wheel would be shipped to my door. He gives me his business card w/ his email and we leave. At around lunch called [redacted], they stated that they do not sell just the face of the wheel and you have to buy one full wheel. they quoted me for a website price of $590 +$140 for the wheel and the finish on the wheel. ([redacted] Sp1-r in spectrum silver, 16x8 +26 offset.) [redacted] didn't email me a quote because its all found on their website. 12:33, I called pro-spec (shop where I ordered my wheels) [redacted], quoted me at a discounted price of $673 shipped to my door. He emailed me the estimate. *I have records of all calls and emails* At, 1:41pm I emailed [redacted] all the details from what both places said & attached the pdf. file of [redacted] quote. He later calls but my phone was about to die and I wasnt home. he said to call back then. I call immediately when I get home and we played phone tag a bit. Then at 4:10 I receive a call from him saying the maximum that he can do is a $300 check and drop my charge for the $60 mount and balance. I was obviously not happy with this considering one wheel costs $673. I should not have to pay out of pocket for this business messing up MY wheels. They went in their with nothing wrong and they get returned to me with damages..... its very unfair. Later that evening, my mother calls back because I was too upset to talk about it, and asks him about going through his insurance to cover the damages done. He said no because the deductible is higher then the price of the wheel. At this point I was just extremely upset and confused. I didnt want to take a $300 check but at the same time I was nervous that if I returned and asked for more he would deny me of anything at all considering when I said on the phone that I was not happy with $300 and asked him what do we do next and he said nothing. Next morning, March 20, I decided to meet up and talk to my grandparents about what to do, they said meet up with him in person to try to negotiate with him. My grandparents decidied to come with me and my mom. 10:12 am we arrived at L&M. Me, my mom and grandfather walk inside. after a 5 min wait he calls us up and I said what changed about you sending a brand new face or wheel shipped to my door. I said 300.00 is not enough money to even pay for a new wheel. I told him to go a little higher and he said $340 max. I start crying at this point because its just sickening that he did this. He asked me how much money I had into my car 10-15k? I said 15k since my car is a show car. He said then why are you complaining over a 600-700 wheel? which was sooo rude. So I said you run a "3.5 million dollar business but can't pay for a $700 wheel. Then I start crying more because he said this deal about the $340 only stands til friday. Upset, I start crying more & he throughs out that someone he knows is dying from cancer and im crying over a wheel..... so ignorant that [redacted] would even say something like that. Knowing that the police told me to get documentation of this situation my only chance was to get the check for $340 or get the invoice that he canceled out my mount and balance fees. He writes out check and made each of us a copy and made me & him sign saying I recieved check. To attempt to recieve more paperwork I asked him to print me a receipt saying he caneled out my mount and balance fees . He denied to print out any type of receipt/ invoice and said he personally removed everything from the system. I always thought that it was illegal for someone to deny you a receipt if you ask for one? As soon as I received the check I took it to my bank and cashed it immediately because I didnt wanna risk chances of depositing it and having it bounce. When we pulled into the bank parking lot I noticed that on the bottom of my copy of the check where both of us signed he wrote the wrong date 4/20/2014..... even tho he did right the right date at the top of the official check.

I'm seriously so heartbroken that this business treated me in this way and cannot own up to the damages of my wheels.

he knows the tech damaged my wheels, he knows my wheels did not come in this way. Now I am out hundreds of dollars because of this careless business.Desired Settlement: All I am asking for is for this business to pay me the remaining amount of money for a new wheel so I can purchase one since I have a magazine photoshoot, a video, and car shows coming up at the end of april. The remaining amount that I need is $273.00 .

Hitting 4000 dollar wheels with a rubber hammer shouldn't have happened to begin with. Yeah, maybe on cheaper wheels but not 4000 dollar wheels. I have tons of pictures for proof of the damages which in fact are larger then a finishing nail head. Never once did [redacted] or any other employee at this business ever ask me to leave the shop nor did I ever yell profanity . I have witnesses from each of the days I walked in there. Yes, I was crying but who wouldn't in the position I am in . It still makes me wanna cry to this day since noting has been done about the damaged wheel. Any replicable business would replace any damages done considering it was done on their property , under their shop, by a l&m tech. All I want is the remaining money so I can purchase a new wheel. The only reason I accepted the check was so I had a written document & so I wasn't out of even more money in the end . The $673 is a discounted price from where I purchased the wheel originally. Being nice enough to give a discounted, quote [redacted] still denied to replace . I'm already out $273 now because I only recieved $340+ the dropped mount and balance.
