I receive a notification letter that a complaint was filed against me on behalf of *** * *** *** *** *** *** Owensboro Kentucky 2*** on July 11th If you look at the letter attached or at the bottom of this email it will clearly State and show that the complaint that

Business Response to a Complaint Complaint ID#: 11557670 Company Name: l and l construction company Company Contact: charles lagadinos Company Phone: [redacted] Company Email: [redacted] Person Who Sent the Complaint: [redacted] Staff Member: [redacted] Response: It clearly states in both our contracts I will not be responsible for acts of God/acts of mother nature that occur during the roofing process. We each have a signed copy of the agreed contract stating I'm not liable/responsible. The roof had been dried in the day prior on 6-14-16 with 30lb felt, which didn't prevent water going under laps. The complaint failed to mention us removing attic insulation and setting up ram air movers in attic, bedroom, along with commercial dehumidifier night of incident. I contacted [redacted] the next morning and they came out, assessed and recommended 1 dehumidifier and 2 air movers (I doubled their recommendation) This at no expense to home owner, nor still is, even tho I wasn't liable. I offered to pay for damages out of pocket, no expense to them, again I wasn't liable. The supplied equipment was taken out of the home and left on the side walk for [redacted] to pickup. Homeowner stated equipment wasn't working. The equipment was checked by [redacted] and worked fine when they got to their shop. Roof was told to be a 2 layer tear off, felt, furring strips, and metal roof. The roof actually had 6 layers and 4 layers. Entire roof top was re-framed / built up due to excessive sagging. (20' 2x8's used for buildup) approx 3000 + sf. Homeowner fails to mention this was non contracted additional expenses he wasn't charged for, except additional layers of roofing. I spent 12 days onsite after the rain Installing roughly 25 piece's of metal, which is only 2 pieces per day. No one can say this was rushed any. I was out of pocket $3000 along with down payment of $6000. I spent 4 weeks rebuilding the entire topside of his home only not to be paid. There is a balance of approximately $9000.00 owed to me. Walk through conducted on 6-26-16 and homeowner requested 1 piece of metal be changed due to crinkle in the rib, I agreed and had metal onsite. Homeowner stated the roof looked good and was going to be just fine, it was dusty but needed a little rain on it, post walkthrough on 6-26-16 prior to him leaving for work. Nothing as stated in Revdex.com complaint was said to me, even that night approx midnight I text bill burns and told him status of roof, crinkled pieces would be changed out when finishing metal trim order came in and he said "*". This was his second opportunity to state the Revdex.com complaints to me, yet nothing was mentioned, all was just fine. We were to return to the home when additional metal trim order came in, bill burns acknowleged and was perfectly fine with it. There had only been 4 working business days pass when I received threatening and retaliation text messages from bill burns. I was informed he was going to hire someone else to finish the roof in one text message, in a second text message a few minutes later he informed me he had to hire someone else and they came and fixed the roof. Both contradicting one another. he had intentions and expectations of getting his roof installed for free. bill burns is in default of contracted balances and additional balances acquired nearly $9000.00 along with $3000 approx I had been out of pocket. He breached the agreed contracts, voiding all contractor and manufactures warranties due to non payment and breach of contract. Any loss or out of pocket expenses he has acquired is his own fault, because initially out of a kind heart I offered to cover ALL expenses at my out of pocket expense even though I wasn't liable. EVERY effort had been made to please someone that ultimately isn't pleasable. Any outside party's hired were by his choice and his expense. He chose to file a claim with his homeowners insurance, claims adjuster was made aware I had offered to cover repairs. He stated in the attic to mr bill burns that structurally the home was fine and some minor repairs were needed, it wasn't that bad at all (I heard their conversation word for word while they walked through the attic space, they weren't aware of us being directly above just by chance . L and L construction is not licensed and insured like he advertised and he broke the contract by saying he was and advertising that he is, that I believe is fraud, and putting felt paper on and calling it dried in and he didn't bother to tarp it that just goes to show he does not know what he is doing and doesn't care about someone else's home, I'm not asking for a free roof, I'm asking for my money back from L and L construction so I can pay a experienced and licensed and insured roofer to redo the damage L and L construction caused, and I didn't threaten [redacted] I text him and said I needed my money back so I can get someone else to fix my roof the right way and I said if he didn't return my money I will contact Revdex.com and My attorney, he destroyed my home and all I'm asking for is my money back to replace roof.
