This contractor cashed my check for $6,000 in advance for the demolition of my old garage and construction of a new one. He wrote out a proposal and signed it. He never constructed my new garage (over a year now) and admitted by phone that he used my money to finance other jobs that he was doing. He and his wife led me on with promises to construct the garage and other promises to pay back the money, and never did.
