she would be moving that Sunday the 30th. The leasing consultant then printed out a 60 day notice for [redacted] where she had signed it that day and turned it in.I took the notice which had no move out date or forwarding address and only had a written signature. I wrote her an email and let her know We received her Written notice but we couldn't accept notice for a move out for April the 30th as her lease required her to submit a written 60 day notice. I then explained to her because her lease expired on April the 30th that she would become a month to month resident and that we could accept a 30 day.The following day she followed up and called and had stated that I was a liar and she had given proper notice. She stated incidents that had happened with previous management and I had explained we were only addressing the issue at hand. The resident stated that she would show up after the next resident moved in and tell them issues with the apartment that we was unaware of. She, also requested that she speak with my regional manager I emailed her a link to file a complaint. She then emailed me with a date for a walkthrough of her unit on May 1, 2017 @ 4:00pm. I agreed to meet her at that time however she came into the office to speak with our leasing agent and she had stated that she had filed a complaint and needed someone to take a look at the apartment to make sure it was in good condition. The leasing agent ask her to come to my office to speak with me and she did, however she started crying and said she was Sorry for the way she spoke to me on the phone and I told her it was ok and not to cry, she also said I know you all will try to rent the unit as soon as possible and I agreed that if we rented the unit she would stop paying rent once someone else occupied the unit.
