Review: [redacted] of LDJ Inc. Installed a new roof with a 10 year written warranty on labor on my home in Portland, OR. Two years later the roof started leaking in multiple places causing significant water damage to multiple rooms attic spaces. [redacted] Refuses to respond to my repeated calls and letters over the last month to honor is warranty and address the problem. I have since had a home inspector and another licensed and bonded roofer look at the roof. They both have told me the roof was installed wrong and does not meet code for various reasons, which is why the roof is leaking. They also stated because the roof is installed wrong that the 25 year MFG warranty for the roofing materials is also void. For these reasons it is necessary to tear off the old roof, inspect for water/moisture damage, fix any damages and re-roof my home.Desired Settlement: Because [redacted] and LDJ Inc. will not respond to my calls and letters, I am now forced to hire another roofer to re-roof the house and document the damages. I am seeking to be reimbursed for the expenses associated with installing the new roof and for the repair of all damages caused by the leaking roof.
