We apologize for the long delay it took to reply to Revdex.com complaint # We did not mean to ignore the complaint, it just happened that the complaint was mixed up with many junk and advertisement mails the shop receives and puts aside.Mrs [redacted] came to the shop to have her hair done on July 18, for her wedding She had box braids done as requested and she was very satisfied with the quality of the service when she was leaving Mrs [redacted] came back around one week later with few braids that were hanging in the front to have them retouched Mrs [redacted] requested that we should not hold the braids tightened because tightened braids give her a headache We went by her requests when we braided her hair After the front was redone, we did not hear from Mrs [redacted] No complaint for almost a month In one month many things can happen to women's hair depending on how she styles the hair, or holds the hair for the daily activities Besides, the braids were not tightened so there is no way that the hairs could be pulled out as the result of braiding When Mrs [redacted] called a month later after receiving the service, to have a full refund of her money, she was weeks out from the one week the shop allows a customer to have refunds for non satisfied service This rule is posted at the entrance of the business and was reminded to Mrs [redacted] when she wanted her front retouched.Sincerely,L&G African Hair Braiding

In response of Ms *** *** complaint agin, like I stated in my previous response, we have no way of knowing how she has been taking care of her hair/braids while she had the braids on It's not only about the braids but it all comes down of how you take care of it She had the braids done and specially asked for braids to be loose because she says she is "tender headed" Some of the braids were hanging like she said because they weren't put tight enough rom the get go It was done according to her widh to have it loose She came back to us to have it styled for her wedding and asked if we can fix the raids that were hanging, and we did just that So far she did not on her secod visit say anything about her edges/hair hurting No complaints at all If the hair was about to break off after days like she said, why not ask then for a refund? She was still in the time frame for a full refund The shop policy state there will be no refund after week Ms *** keeps contradicting herself in the complaint, first she stated "yes I was very happy with the service when I left but days later I called and told her that it looked like my hair was about to break off because the or braids were hanging on strands of hair" and later on she wrote, again I cite "My hair did not break off as I stated in the first email until I started taking them out" which I believe, she took the hair out to weeks later We sincerely believe you can't use a product for a month daily before you actually realize you don't need the product and want a full refund of it Ms *** does not have in her possession any valuable proof of her statement saying the braids she got done by us broke off her hair She kept those braids for a month or I believe a little bit longer, she would have noticed if the hair was breaking off during that period, not on the day she is taking it down We don't know which method she used to take her hair down, how she went about it; how she took care of her hair during the time she had it In five weeks a lot happens, to our body as well as our hair We always are striving for the total satisfaction of our customers and work with them as the best of our ability

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because: yes I was happy with the service when I left, but days later I called and told her that it look like my hair was about to break off because the or braids was hanging on stands of hairSo *** told me I could come back that Saturday and get them done but I told her I could only come on that Friday she stated she would be in Houston that day and her sister in law would do it for me no charge That day I also paid for her to put my hair in a bun for my wedding(So if it was the style that broke my hair like she is trying to say, then I should still get my money back because I paid for that style when I got those braids rebraidedAlso, when the sister in law took out of the braids out of the right side of my head, the hair that was on the braids was such a Lil portion she had to braid it in braid, I have pictures of that as wellThen my husband was there as she suited my hair in the bun for my wedding).My hair stayed that way for the weeksMy edges were hurting because *** used very small portions of hair for the first rows of braids around the front and back of my hair line*** is telling a lie, I never called her to get my edges or front of my braids touched upMy hair did not break off as I stated in the first email until I started taking them outBecause the braids was Bigger than the hair as I unbraided the braid my hair broke off right where *** started the braid atThe reason my hair did not break off in the middle or center left or center right is because the hair portion was much biggerWhen I started taking my braids out, I called *** the next day because it was late, and I was calm and explain to her my hair fell out from those braids on the sides and backWhile on the phone call I text message her pictures like the copies I sent and she put me on hold for about minutes I had someone on the phone with me on way, they hear the whole conversationI asked what could be done when she returned back to the phoneShe stated I could get a sew in, I told her I didn't want that because the thread was going to tear my hair out moreShe said cornrows, (that's when they braid your hair back in rows,) I told her I didn't want that either because the bald spots were very visible, and I work in a professional setting, next I asked for some of my money back so it would hero me but a wig That's when *** for loud and irate, she screamed I braided your hair like you asked me to and I said but I didn't tell you to put it on a few strings of hairI was asking her for some of my money but when she started yelling and I couldn't talk to her as adults, she hung up the phone in my face So instead of me calling her back, I decided to file a complaint. Ps*** also kept telling you gone have to wait for it to grow back I kept replying" I know that" but what are you gonna do She stated you have to let it grow back Then I asked for SOME of my money back then she got mad and yelled and screamed then hung up in my face.

I am rejecting this response because:
There is no sign that states you can get a refund within a week,  she must have just put it up there.  Like I said my hair was styled by there salon in a high bun for my wedding so if it was because of the style them order still not my fault that when I took the braids down my hair broke off around the front because the braids was only holding on by stands of hair in the front. I couldn't tell because it was in a style that I didn't have to mess with it. Like I said it wasn't five weeks lil girl that I kept these braids in my hake or was not even a month that I had them in.  It was 3 weeks to be exact.  I got them on the 18th of July I got married Aug 7 and the next week I took them out. My pictures are dated in my camera that I took. I'm not going back and forth worth this girl, I have proof, both conversation and pictures,  I will seek a lawyer to retain my refund and for further distress,  I will also go to the new media and tell them my story. There is a sign that says no refunds,  also it said after a week you can't get anything fixed after a week. Like I stated before,  she could have given me half of my money back so I could get a wig because I work in a professional setting and can't wear hats on my head to work.  Well if she is saying all this why when I called her the day I sent the pictures to her,  she was offering to do cornrows in my hair I told her no because the bald spots were too visible, then she offered me to do a sew in,  I said no because that was going to break my hair because they have to braid it and see thread around your hair.  So stop lying.  That's OK you don't want to own up to it and tell the truth,  God knows the truth,  that how come I can sleep peaceful at night. There are several layers in the state of Louisiana that would take my case. Either way it goes your going to have to pay somebody to represent you.  So your still giving away money.  Be blessed liar
