L Hansens Forwarding Ltd.

My husband and I recently had our car shipped from St. John's to Calgary by Hansens. They were terrible!!! It looked like someone had eaten their lunch in our car and thrown their garbage all over the front passenger seat. Also the car was coated in a thick layer of dirt when it arrived. But the real kicker was that they broke our parking brake during transport - it cost almost $300 to repair and they rejected our claim to have the cost reimbursed. Apparently they will only consider reimbursing damage done to the exterior of the car (eg dents/scartches) but they will not reimburse you for any damage that they do to the mechanical/electrical system - which includes all of the important stuff like brakes, engine, etc.
Very frightening! Don't use this company!!!

I am currently having my vehicle shipped via hansen's from Vancouver to Grande Prairie. I was told from their office in Vancouver that it would take 10 to 11 days on the 9th it is now the 29th and the vehicle is sitting in a locked compound 450 km away. I call the office and leave messages no one calls me back. This has been the worst experience ever. The one time I did talk to someone I cannot go get the vehicle myself and they dont know when they will get it to Grande Prairie, they are now hoping before the 9th of January a whole month later.
