L.Hein Construction was hired to do my $50,000 reno [redacted]. [redacted]. I had ordered new windows and doors and not one of them was installed properly. Every window is not flush causing problems with the drywall inside the house. The work on the outside is all improperly installed and needs to be redone. The electrical work inside and out is not up to code and even though he was paid well in advance nothing is finished. What I thought should be a month long reno has dragged into over a year and a half and its still not completed. [redacted]. Every attempt was made to contact him to address my issues and calls went unanswered, messages were ignored and if I did get a call back it was just with more excuses and promises that were never carried out. Bathroom renovation not completed in a time span of 10+ months, as well as other work contracted for.Arranged for a bathroom renovation as well as a couple other jobs on January 30, 2015. I paid for 99.9% of the work to be done ($11,300.00) and as of October, 2015, work was still not finished. I made attempts multiple times in June through October to get the work completed but was [redacted] ignored at at every attempt. In late October, 2015, I paid $6,066.90 to another contractor to get the work finished as well as fixing multiple instances of shoddy workmanship done by L. Hein Construction.Desired SettlementI want a refund in the amount of $6,066.90 to cover my cost to finish and repair poor workmanship areas.
