LID Landscapes turned on my sprinkler system in the Spring of 2013. Included in that service, supposedly, was checking to ensure everything was working well. They failed to find or fix a sprinkler head near the sidewalk that was leaking badly. I called their office repeatedly for weeks, but no one returned my phone calls. They finally called me months later, but only because I hadn't paid the invoice. They shut down the system in the Fall and then came back this Spring (2014) to turn my system on. I soon discovered that the same sprinkler head was still leaking, i.e., they never fixed it the first time and they missed it again the second time. I called to have someone come out again to fix the problem, but when the guy showed up I was told there was no problem ("it's just normal drainage"), when clearly there was (the sidewalk is wet, 24/7, even if the sprinkler system had been shut off for weeks). The service guy was quite rude. Weeks later I received an invoice for fixing the problem that I was told wasn't there! I then emailed the office, twice, to complain. Once again, no one bothered to respond. It appears LID is good at sending invoices for services not rendered, but isn't good at actually doing the work. I won't use their service again and would strongly recommend others to seek services elsewhere.

LID continually has disregarded our written requests to cease contacting my elderly father. LID recently contacted my father, who has advanced Alzheimers, to extract a payment from him for a bill we (the payers) never received. LID has been notified several times in 2013 and 2014 that they are not to have any contact with my father (because of his health condition). LID was given a valid contact for payment, but did not bother to record a correct email or phone and did not mail the invoice to us. LID was told to under no circumstances do ANY work except what was explicitly written in the contract, yet they went ahead and did work in 2013 several times without permission ($1000 for mulch!), then billed my father, and he paid it before we could get the bill from him. This is elder abuse.
