On July 23, 2015, Mr. [redacted] came into my place of business.  He stated that there was something going on with his brakes.  He left the vehicle with my business.  My mechanic drove the truck, there was a surge in the Brake pedal.  My mechanic put the vehicle on...

the lift, to check the brakes out.  My mechanic called Mr. [redacted] back and told him that he believed that there was a problem with the rear rotors and brake pads.  My mechanic felt that there was a warp in the rotor.  He did not believe that there were any problems with the front. We gave Mr. [redacted] an estimate of the cost to replace the rear rotors and brake pads.  Mr. [redacted] told us to change them.  My mechanic removed the old brake rotor which was warped and the old brake pads.  My mechanic replaced them with a new brake rotors and brake pads.  My mechanic did not hook the diagnostic tool on the vehicle to check the ABS because that would have been an additional $50.00 charge.  My mechanic drove the vehicle, the vibration in the brake petal was gone.  The next day Mr. [redacted]s came back and advised that his ABS light was on.  My mechanic checked the ABS by hooking the diagnostic tool to the vehicle, free of charge.  My mechanic advised that it may be the ABS pump that needed attention and that we were not equipped to fix this problem because of a special test procedure.  Mr. [redacted] advised that he had a vehicle with the same problem before and would probably have to go to the dealership.  At no time did Mr. [redacted]s advise myself or my mechanic that the vehicle would not stop.  Two weeks later, Mrs. [redacted] came to the business and stated that the vehicle wouldn't stop.  At this time, I advised Mrs. [redacted] that if something we did was wrong and that if the dealership advised that it was our fault, with faulty parts or labor that I would refund her the amount of the charge for the labor.  However, Mrs. [redacted] stated that she would just file a complaint with the Revdex.com.  I feel that L & J Tires LLC has not done any work that would be slanderous or unneeded to a vehicle.  My mechanic diagnosed a problem and was proven correct with the removal of the brake rotor from the rear that was warped.  I feel that I should not have to reimburse Mr. or Mrs. [redacted] any amount for work performed.
