MrK*** represented he was a master electrician when he agreed to replace two electrical panels at my year old mother's home on January 5, He was paid $up front to purchase materials with the balance of $to be paid when he completed the work He about 25% of the job and collected the check for $without completing the job and has not been heard from sinceI called the bank thirty minutes after MrK*** left my mothers home and he had already cashed the checkThe work he did do was substandard, not to code, and not safe The panel he did replace had to be redone properlyHe connected four circuits to one breaker, grounded the panel improperly and failed to put bushings in the box to protect the wires After MrK*** took advantage of my mother, a year old woman, we began to look into MrK***'s background and MrK*** is not a master electrician, nor is he a licensed electrical contractorSo if you hire MrK*** there is a good chance he will misrepresent his qualifications to you and more than likely he will steal your moneyBased on my investigation it appears he has done work where a permit was needed and he used another electrician's license That electrician is named Brian H*** from Spring Branch, TexasHis company is called H&H Electric I tried to contact MrH*** but was unsuccessful in reaching him so I do not know if he is aware that MrK*** is or was using his license for permitsI also am aware from a good friend that MrK*** left her job unfinished after having been paid for the work as well I have written MrK*** demanding a refund to which I have received no response
