incorrect. All materials were ordered and installed according to the signed contract between the consumer and The L & L Company. The sales pricing is also included on thesigned contract and was accepted by the consumer at the time ofsettlement. Review: Company put down a much cheaper tile flooring then what was ordered without reducing price.Credibility of L&L Flooring salesman, [redacted]:* Told us he had no blue carpet for sale so we settled on a grey. When leaving showroom found some blue samples. He switched the order to a blue.* Backsplash ordered was not what was being installed which was a cheaper version. I caught it in time before being installed.* Bill came to over 27K. Set up appt. with [redacted] (was assigned to him) to lower price. F/U meeting all blue samples were hidden. Told my general contractor I refused to deal with Mr. [redacted]. New saleswoman mailed me 4 blues to chose from. Changed about 50% of tile to a 3-D white and brown tile. Tile laid was a flat, cheap linoleum type flooring. DEFINITELY NOT WHAT WAS ORDERED!!!* When we got bill approx. 3 months after meeting with [redacted] twice and changing to a cheaper carpet and tile the bill was actually higher!!! It came to almost $33,000. So we set up a meeting with [redacted] to lower the price by picking cheaper flooring and we ended up with the wrong, much cheaper flooring for about $5,000 more. All this flooring could have been done by Lowe's or Home Depot and we would have got what we wanted for about $4,000 to $7,000!!! I know because I designed every inch of my last house and picked every bit of material. I am very familiar with the pricing of various types of flooring and backsplash.Desired Settlement: Replace flooring with correct flooring. Also, decrease the difference of the original price and the final price back to at least the original price of $27,000. Final price wasn't disclosed until I closed on the house.
