Review: On 5/24/14 I gave a deposit of $2,800.00 for a 2003 [redacted], which I was intending to purchase, to [redacted] the owner of L-N-A Auto Sales.I had the vehicle checked at a licensed Mechanic shop, after I had noticed the vehicle was extremely overheating & twas letting out a smell of anti-freeze/coolant.The mechanic informed me the vehicle had an intake leak & it need to be fixed along with the gaskets or it will soon blow the engine & the vehicle will no longer work, he also advised me not to purchase the vehicle or to have [redacted] fix it himself. I returned the Vehicle to L-N-A Auto sales & [redacted] told me he would fix it. I returned the following weekend & he had not fixed the problem & was trying to convince me that the problem was a minor sensor problem that he had fixed. My husband & I took the car out for a ride & the vehicle began to do the same thing again. I told his employee [redacted], I did not want the vehicle, and he informed [redacted] of L-N-A & [redacted] told me he would have the refund for me no later than Friday, May 31st, but then he kept making excuses everytime & telling me to he had the money, and each time I went out to his business he would say come next week & finally he told me his employee would have the money this past saturday, and again it was a lie. He did not have it & he will not pick up the phone when I call & he doesn't have voice mail. My husband finally reached him on Saturday 5/14/14 and when he noticed it was my husband he hung up the phone, and then would not answer it. I want my money back in full, I saved this money for the sole purpose of buying a car & now I am unable to. He also had a full Title to this [redacted] van & in one day was able to get a new Title, is that possible?Desired Settlement: My cash amount of $2,800.00 refunded to me in full as soon as possible.Also to inform other potential consumers to be aware of this business owners shady tactics. If he is shady in the sense of trying to sell unsafe or useless cars, how can he be trusted fixing or inspecting them, because he does have an onsite car repair & inspection shop.
