In response to [redacted]'s complaint there is a lot of illegitimate information. First I went and gave [redacted] a bid several months ago. Gave her a...

price she could not afford it at the time. Price was $2500 for tear down and rebuild of concrete /stone steps. Got more than 6 calls from her in between time of first bid and time of actual work beginning. My crew and I( not two strange men) as she met them day before steps were being erected... Explained to her in contract we would have to build with cinder block because you can't attach concrete to a wood room addition. She said OK. I said are u sure u understand the process? Not really bit I trust u can do a good job. We demoed stairs (one which we had to use jackhammer from a previous contractor who tried to pour concrete directly to wood) who she had problems with. First day she came home seemed a little tipsy but happy...walls and lower steps were being built...no problem...second day she came home erratic and full of [redacted]. She hasn't remembered she let us park in the garage to begin with. Raised [redacted] about is messing up her routine...and these so called strange men (my crew) she tried to offer beer while working. (We frown on this). I was away for initial disturbance of work by [redacted] but was omw back with rest if supplies. We had words about how she believed they were supposed to be attached to wood frame. I again reiterated to her how that wasn't possible and she got more and more mad and then began to elevate her voice and began to curse. I told my crew to pack up and let her know once she calmed down we could talk and get the situation under control. I texted and called her since then more than three times to get no response. I should have been more aware of her failed business practice as she had a similar problem with the guy before me. She also argued me that there should be four steps instead of the three steps that would meet code of city of st Louis at 7 3/4 inches high on each elevation. I wouldn't be able to work with [redacted] again due to the attacks ony reputation that I've worked very hard to build and not to mention we gave a her a $700 discount so she could get the work done. Her deposit amount alone wasnt enough to even cover the demo and rubble removal we did for her. And with all the supplies purchased and labor 90% done one one side she is lucky we won't be filing suit.
