Review: LR Miller signed a contract with [redacted] to provide electrical, mechanical and plumbing services to a new construction. He collected deposits under 3 separate contracts saying that he would subcontract others to help complete the work. After months he never contracted anyone else but rather continue to do minimal work by himself. Mr Miller collected money under false pretenses that the work was being completed. He even got an inspector from [redacted]'s County to pass his electrical work which turned out to be faulty. The plumbing that he started at the location was also incorrect and all of it had to be pulled out. Once work was to resume, I contacted Mr Miller to correct and finish the job and he responded that he was sick and could therefore not complete. At no time did he offer to get another contractor to finish the work which he had already been paid for nor did he offer to refund me my money. He also misrepresented himself as a licensed plumber, electrician and mechanical contractor. He was working with [redacted] for the plumbing work although [redacted] is now claiming that he was not going to allow Mr Miller to use his license. Mr Miller refuses to take my calls or return my calls. He has also not responded to my demand letter in which I requested a refund for the services not provided.Desired Settlement: Mr Miller owes me $50,000 for the work that he had been paid for but did not complete. The total represents deposits on all three trades which he requested at the time of the contract. He never did any work on the mechanical work on the job and he accepted a hefty deposit for the plumbing, all of which had to be pulled out. He also never finished the electrical work.
