Paid $85 to repair rear view mirror did not come back after I gave him a check. Text several times with excuses.
In May I contacted L&S repair to come to my home and re-mount my rear view mirror on my car. Mr C confirmed a day and time. Mr C applied an adhesive but asked me to wait an hour for it to set then asked me to attach the mirror. I actually waited until the next morning and went to slide the mirror on and it fell of the glass. I immediately text Mr C on May 21st with no reply. he confirmed through text on May 23 he would be at my house around 10:30 am. At 11 am he had not arrived so I text him again. Mr C stated he was on his way back from Lebanon and had a tire go flat and was on the interstate. Several times he had excuses to not finding a tire and would come once he did. On the evening of the 23rd Mr C text and said he would just tear the check up. I replied and said I understand situations happen and I was OK with waiting until tomorrow. He replied and stated he would be there at 11 am. He texted that morning and stated he could not come. I waited until the 28th of may (4 days) to reach-out again through a call and text but Mr C never responded. On Aug 13th the check for $85 cleared my bank ( the one he stated he had torn up) I immediately text Mr C on the evening of the 13th and he replied " Oh let me see what that's about but yes I will get it back to you promptly" I texted him my address and stated he could leave in my mailbox because he lives just 10 minutes away. Today is Monday August 19th and I have not hear from or seen my refund from Mr. C. I have all the text message saved on my phone as evidence.

I would like my $85 refunded

Mr C refunded the $85 last evening. He actually drove to my house a left a $100 bill in my mailbox which I have received. This action has completely satisfied his obligation and I am ready to absolve this complaint.

L&S Mobile Auto cashed my check for auto repairs.($760) Never fix vehicle. Promised to refund money by march 1st. Money still not received.
on tuesday feb 5,2019, I gave L&S a check for $760 for repairs to vehicle. They had requested approximately $600 for a fuel pump up front to be ordered. We agreed he would deposit check on friday 2/8/19, come out and repair vehicle on 2/8/19( I paid him for total bill he requested.) He cashed the check on 2/8/19 but did not show the same day as promised.
Showed up 2/16/19, accusing me of giving him the wrong year of vehicle( even though he was in the vehicle on 2/5/19) I asked for a refund. He refused to reimburse.
My nephew mediated and made arrangements with L&S to either repair vehicle or reimburse. L&S continued to promise to fix vehicle and never showed. On 2/25/19, the company promised the refund check would arrive by 3/1/19.
It is now monday March 11th,2019. L& S has not reiumbursed nor fixed vehicle. It has now been 4 weeks.

Desired Outcome

Contact the Revdex.com member L&S Mobile Auto Repair. I am seeking the $760 the owner has of my money. He has refused to fix the vehicle. He has refused to reimburse.

contacted L&S Mobile Auto Repair to assist in replacing the fuel pump in her Toyota 4Runner. Due to weather related conditions (rain), L&S Mobile Auto Repair was not able to complete the fuel pump replacement as a mobile job and Ms. was informed of this. L&S responded as the weather let up and was there to replace the fuel pump on 2/16/2019. Once L&S Mobile Auto Repair was at location of the car, *** began the process until he noticed the current fuel tank was full of gas. He informed Ms. that with the heavy down pour of rain and the darkness, the job would have to wait until weather was dry or gave the option to drain the fuel and complete the job. Also, the fuel pump was ordered at the time of the confirmation of the appointment. At this time is when the wrong year model of the car was given. Therefore, the fuel pump that was ordered and in hand with L&S would not be correct for the vehicle. At this point, Ms. became aggressive with profanity and was threatening. *** and the technician that was with him witnessed this. Ms. demanded her money back and with comply L&S agreed. She would not stop with the aggressive actions. Extremely aggressive that she was attempting to come through the window of the auto van. At this point, *** drove away. On 2/18/2019 Ms. Nephew called L&S to confirm the actions of what went on that night. *** explained that Ms. actions were not appropriate and he felt disrespected. Her Nephew agreed that she should've understood and agreed that her actions were not appropriate. *** and Ms. nephew agreed that L&S would replace the fuel pump on 2/21/2019 with the agreement that Ms. would not be present. Once again, the area was drenched with rain and there was flooding where *** lives. He was unable to get out of his neighborhood to come to the job seeing as there is only one entrance/exit out which was flooded by the river. Ms. was notified of this and refused to reschedule. L&S would like to replace the fuel pump appropriately rather than issue a refund of money.

L&S promised multiple times to fix the vehicle and either did not show or gave multiple excuses since feb 5th. It is now March 12th, Based on the elapsed time, I've no reason to believe L&S will fix the vehicle. I've allowed since feb 25th ( 15 days) for the refund to arrive as promised before contacting the Revdex.com. L&S has had $760 of a customer's money for 31 days.
Mr. Cooper came onto my property on feb 9th with an angry tone and attitude towards me, accusing me of giving him the wrong year of the vehicle. I felt extremely uncomfortable. His behavior was not acceptable. (on Tuesday feb 5th, Mr Cooper diagnosed the vehicle with a faulty fuel pump asking for the down pmt to order it-approximately $600 I gave him a check for the entire job of $760 with his promise to fix Friday feb 8th in good faith) After acknowledging he indeed had my $760, and saying he had other customers to to take care of.instead of me (again, unacceptably rude to a customer whom had already paid for the job and patiently waited over a week through the multiple excuses given) , he refused to refund my money. Stating "It doesn't work that way"
It is an untruth that I attempted to jump through his window. .
Mr Cooper has clearly made multiple accusations against me that are untrue as to somehow mitigate his own unprofessional, dishonest behavior in this matter.

Will not return call or text, has my car
My car was involved in flash flood 02/07/19. I called L&S - *** - 02/08/19 and set up for him to come to house and look at car. We discussed 85.00 diagnostic fee, if I decided to have him fix car then that would be credited to the repair and if I did not have him do repair that is all it would cost me. Met with him 02/10/19 and he said he needed car in his shop to look at better. He asked for 85.00 diagnostic fee and I paid it. He said he could pick my car up on Monday 02/11/19 with trailer on his truck and take to shop. He would not commit to cost of two but stated he would cut me a deal as we were both in ***. He texted me that morning that something came up and it would be later in day. I did not hear from him and I contacted him and we arranged for him to pick up 02/12/19. He picked up car as scheduled. I contacted him 02/18/19 and he said he had sent me a text 02/15/19 that I did not get. He said car needed new engine. I asked him to get estimate, and asked him if he did insurance company work. He said he would send me estimate and he did not do insurance company work. He texted estimate to me 02/20/19. I also asked what I would owe him if I did not repair car and he said 309.00 for diagnostics, battery and tow. I told him I needed to decide and would let him know asap. I contacted him 02/26 via text and asked for breakdown for 309.00. I texted 02/27 and asked for breakdown of 309.00 and needed detailed estimate and that if insurance would cover repair I would pay him and insurance would reimburse me. I texted him 02/28 and said I needed breakdown of 309.00 and his address as insurance company was going to tow car to a shop that is on their list. I need the breakdown of the 309.00 because I already paid the 85.00 diagnostic fee, no battery was purchased with my authorization and he said he had some batteries in his show he could hook up to car to do diagnostics so one would not need to be purchased for diagnostic purposes only. I should only owe for the tow. He has my car, the keys and will not return my call or text. I am paying for rental car and insurance claim is on hold until we can reach him. I am contacting him daily and have the money on hand to pay for the towing, he needs to contact me back so we can make arrangements to pay him - but I do not owe him 309.00.

Desired Outcome

I need breakdown of 309.00 and need to pay for towing only. I need his address so insurance company can pick up car and keys. I would like the daily cost of the rental car credited to the towing for the days he is not returning my calls or texts. (about 21.00/day and this is day 4)

We have tried to contact *** via text, phone calls, and messaging on Facebook (the way she originally contacted us). *** has texted and called on 2/25,2/26,2/27,2/28,3/1. *** will not respond nor return phone calls. *** was told that the car would need a new engine and L & S Mobile Auto Repair could provide her with an engine but it would not be able to process under an insurance claim seeing as we do not accept insurance claims/payments.As requested by ***,she was given an itemized list of the battery, tow bill, and diagnostic fee which was sent through a text message. We are asking that *** pays 134.00 plus tax which will total $146.00. This is the cost of the battery that was placed in the car with permission from ***. We will not be seeking payment for the diagnostic fee or tow bill.

I have not received calls or texts from L&S. I already paid the 85.00 diagnostic fee. I did not approve a battery, I was told by Steve that he had some in the shop he could use so if the car was not going to be repaired then I would not need to buy a battery. As no battery was authorized, and diagnostics were already paid, towing is all that I should owe for. If what you stated was 146.00 for the battery - I want the new battery and since you stated that you will not charge me for diagnostics, I would only owe the difference between the 85.00 that I already paid and the 146.00. I never authorized anything except to determine what was wrong with the car and diagnostics was paid in cash when he was at my house 02/09/19. As it is stated in writing here that they are not pursuing diagnostic or towing fees, then I owe 61.00 as 85.00 has already been paid. I will get the 61.00 to them via money order and need bill showing paid in full in exchange. I have looked at the detail of my cell phone and do not see any calls or texts from Steve on the dates listed above.

This has been resolved. I met with Steve and it appears that due to recent flooding and weather issues not all calls were coming through to my phone. I was able to pay him and speak with him and apologize. He is a good guy and an honest mechanic whom I would recommend, and go to again myself (if he would let me).

I reached out to Steve with an incredibly strict time frame with an issue on my Jeep.

I had a litany of things that needed to be done, and Steve personally came and picked up my vehicle within an hour of me calling him. Within 4 days he had diagnosed the various issues, had the parts ordered, test driven, and returned without a single snag.

On top of that, his rate for my repair was the most fair I could ever have stumbled across. If you value a mechanic who truly values their customers, choose Steve. I could not recommend him enough.

I have used L&S 4 times. They are fast, honest, and super helpful. They offer high quality work at a better price than the chains that are always trying to up sell you. L&S is a perfect example of a local business that not only deserves support but works really hard to earn loyalty. They have earned mine.

Steve and the crew were exceptional on diagnosing and fixing my Dodge Challenger! The reputation with L & S Mobile auto Repair is beyond the highest standard of reliability and professional. They know their stuff and explain everything that they see and do. They actually found a problem that was created from another mobile mechanic! I am thankful for choosing them and will definetly recommend them and choose them for all my car needs.

L & S (Steve) has bailed me out twice. They have excellent and dependable service. Both times my car was inoperable and they came to my home, diagnosed the problem, towed the car and then brought it back to my home. I feel like they have great rates. Steve stayed in touch with me while the car was in the shop and finished both jobs by the time he said he would. My car is now running well and I have been very pleased with their work. I highly recommend him and will use him again if the need occurs. Thanks, Steve!

Excellent mechanic, service is awesome. They work promptly to get you back on the road. Top notch service, felt very comfortable putting my family back in the car after repairs were made. Great mechanic, great service! Steve will come to you wherever you are and will work hard to get the job done right! He has breathed new life into my 2007 Subaru Outback with over 200K miles. He has also taken great care of my mom's older car and is very honest and trustworthy.

I've called L & S twice to help with my son's older car. Both times they were courteous and did all repairs quickly and accurately. They let me know exactly what was wrong and gave me I felt an excellent price on all repairs. They are very honest and both times did an excellent job. I highly recommend them!
