L T D Ford Reviews (1)
To Whom this may concern,
We purchased our vehicle from Ford LTD in late March. In late April we brought the vehicle in for repairs for recovering of the vehicles rims ( this repair was agreed to by the dealer when they sold us the car ). Upon the sale of the vehicle it was found that the vehicle (2010 Ford Flex ) had some issues with the Rims flaking and chrome coming off the rims.
When we took it back to Ford LTD they agreed to split the cost with us to have the Rims reconditioned through an outside service provider that they used from the East St Louis Area. __________.
We left the vehicle for the conditioning in late April and paid the cost for the service. Within two weeks the work proved to be faulty and not effective. Upon calling the service department they worked with the service provider and agreed that they would work out a solution to repair and service the wheels that were faulty.
After multiple weeks and failed promises to come and redo or complete a new service to the wheel rims we contacted the dealer who then contacted their service provider.
We too contacted their service provider and could get no where with any follow up solutions.
After months waiting for the dealer and their service provider to make good on their promises to fix and or complete the reconditioning to the wheels we called both the service provider and the dealer and told them that we want our money back.
This has gone on since April 2011 and not it is December 2012. We feel we have allowed enough time for this item to be corrected.
When you spend $33000 on a vehicle you expect better service.
At this point we no longer want to deal with either the dealer or their service provider and we would like our money back so we can get our rims serviced through a local reputable dealer.
