Horrible Dealership!!!! Liars, thieves and ILLEGAL practices! DO NOT PAY the $995.00 dealership fee they will attempt to ADD to the vehicle purchase price as ITS ILLEGAL to do such in the State of California under California Code XXXXX.1. AGAIN, DO NOT PAY THE DEALERSHIP FEE or made-up fees thereafter.

THE DETAILS: As an out-of-state buyers, I wanted to buy an SUV with cash at the price they advised WITHOUT negotiating for a lower price as it was fair. Instead, the dealership was irritated at my mention of cash and instead ADDED a dealership fee of $995 plus additional misc. fees unexplained. When I challenged the salesmen about such ... I was referred to the manager named Albert. Upon, my discussion with Albert, I informed him that the practice of dealership fees is ILLEGAL in California, quickly he changed his story and agreed to immediately remove the fee and resent a final price quote. He then stated that I needed to pay a nonrefundable fee of $1000.00 and he couldn't hold the car until the weekend had concluded.

I was a cash buyer willing to fly from Georgia to California to buy their vehicle and yet this dealerships greed got in the way! The moral of the story ... they are not interested in customers but only transactions. BAD DEALERSHIP!

Purchased vehicle in late March2020 received plates w/renewal showing registration for 2019 was paid and not 2020.
In late March I purchased a 2015 Lexus *** VIN ***XXXXXX from LA Auto Exchange. The contract indicates the amount paid to Public Officials in the amount of $671.00, however, I received the plates and registration on 5/16 showing those fees were applied to 2019 fees due and not 2020. The 2020 registration fees should have been included in the contract as well or disclosed by the seller that fees listed on the contract was for 2019 only. Now I owe 2020 Registration fees that due in June 2020, which I have no clue what those fees are since I wasn't the owner to receive the paperwork. The salesman was no use and advised for me to contact the DMV without resolution. Not disclosing the correct year the registration fees were applied was deceiving and misleading by the seller and salesman.

If I purchased the vehicle in 2020 why am I paying past due fees in 2019?
Why was 2020 not included into the contract as additional registration fees to pay?

Desired Outcome

If I purchased the vehicle in 2020 why am I paying past due fees in 2019? Why was 2020 not included into the contract as additional registration fees to pay or disclosed that there was past due fees?

To all,

I have reviewed the full deal. This was a REPO unit and had prior fees due from the customer before. On the 553 section 2 LAX collected $671 as per DMV. Customer signed the contract acknowledging the fee's. The date of birth / renewal for this car is 06/14 of every year. CA DMV does not change those date or prorated registration. They will get a $62 refund check in the mail.

Car came into the dealer's inventory on 02/21/20 and we posted REPO fees on 03/20/20. It is within the allocated posting time. Good thing *** and *** stay on top of this. Due to our REPo posting the dealer DID NOT acquire additional penalties.

Good job team and tell me if you need anything else from me.

El Monte: Personal Belongings and Reimbursement for down payment not avail after 2 weeks.
They decided to back outta the deal and repossess the car. After 2 weeks, im told that they do not have it from the repossessors, and my stuff is not available, nor is my down payment. After 2 weeks! Now awhen I purxhased the car, after 2 1/2 months, I still hadnt received any payment info. This is after at least a dozen calls and texts from these peeople 7 days a week. Always needing something else when I originally provided all required at time of purchase! 2 months later I ho in to resign all documents. I specificlly aske 4 reassurance all that is required had been collected. YES. The next day all the yexts began with needing this wanting that this isnt good enough... After 2 months its very nerve racking. Then they come and repossess the car with no option to correct 1 paper thats needed and proceed with the deal. I was simply waiting for payment info and was going to pay it off in order to boost my credit. But no, I wnt given the option and 2 weeks later they dont kmow where my belongings are and wont return my down payment! When I signed the deal, I wasnt allowed to take the car til the full down payment was given, yet they take the car and 2 weeks later, im still not paid and only given 1/2 vague answers at best. These people are too kuch. Annoying alling and asking for the same thing ive already given them relentlessly! 6,7,.. 10 calls and texts a day for 2 months is beyond excessive, and only to exhibit their lack of common sense and intellegence by now making me wait for my $$ when theyve had rheir car for 2 weeks!!

Desired Outcome

My stuff. My down payment returned NOW. without delaay, with the same aggressiveness used to retrieve an already possessed document from me multiple times a day for 2 months.

Non disclosure of expired registration tags prior to me taking procession of the car. I paid $650 in registration fees was for penalty and late fees
At the time of the purchase, I paid $650 for registration thinking that it would take care of the registration from July 4, 2019 to July 4, 2020 but I recently received a renewal in the mail from DMV in the amount of $298 to renewal for the upcoming year(2020). I was not well represented in the fact of the matter.

Desired Outcome

I went to talk to the dealership and all they can offer me was their apologies for not disclosing the information that the registration was not up to date and that there isn't anything that can be done now. They pretty much brushed me off while I am stuck with this new registration fee.

I purchased a 2016 Toyota Camry in April of 2019. Two weeks ago approximately August 2, 2019 I noticed the car was having problems. It wasn't accelerating and it was making a loud noise. I contacted the *** (***) regarding procedures as to the Repair Shop in which would take the Extended Warranty that I purchased. At that time the manager told me that I could no longer take it to BB Auto Tech Repair located at *** located in Bell Gardens, but I had to take it to JC Auto Repair located at***. The following morning I had my car towed there because it was an emergency and the website specified that it was open. However, the repair shop was closed. I was stranded in a different County and didn't feel safe traveling so I had to have the front engine mount replaced. I finally scheduled an appt with JC Auto on 8/10/19 and that's the day I was informed that the Extended Warranty would not cover the cost of repairs and Toyota's Warranty would cover the repairs. When I leave my car with the Toyota Dealer, I'm informed that the engine mounts need replacing and bolts are missing and there is frame damage on the vehicle due to a collision which is why nothing is lining up and they could not repair the car because the mileage was over *** miles.

On 8/15/19 I contacted Toyota Headquarters and spoke to *** (rep) and she informed me that the reason why Toyota's Warranty didn't apply was due to the frame damage on the vehicle.

When I contacted *** (***) I specifically asked him which company does the vehicle inspections on the cars prior to the sale and he could not give me an answer. This car that was sold to me should have been deemed a total loss after an accident which took place in 2016. No I'm stuck with an unsafe car which I'm unable to drive and no one is willing to assist with the repairs which is going to cost me thousands of dollars. This is an unfair business practice. I've left messages.
Product_Or_Service: 2016 Toyota Camry

Desired Outcome

Refund I would like out of this contract. This vehicle is unsafe and unoperable. It's a shame.

Customer brought vehicle in for repairs, was taken care of even though are warranty is 30 days *** miles only. engine and transmission. mile difference on her vehicle was *** miles from purchased date. customer had issues on vehicle from normal wear and tear and usage. we repaired her vehicle at no cost to her.

LA Auto Exchange sold me a 'lemon vehicle', it had many issues which I had to repair by an independent 3rd party.
Hello, how are you?

My name is ***, I recently graduate from college with a good amount of student debt, and decided to venture on to buying a used vehicle because this what I can afford at the moment. In Dec'2018 LA Auto Exchange sold me a 'lemon vehicle', it had many issues which I had to repair by an independent 3rd party. When purchased from LA Auto, the vehicle had roughly 31,250 miles on it. During that timeline (5 Months) I had to replace multiple items on the vehicle totaling an extra cost for me at $***.

- April 27th 2019, Firestone Complete Auto Care Inv#: *** (35,100 Miles)
Front and Rear rotors: $666.99

- January 12th 2019, Firestone Complete Auto Care Inv# *** (32,962 Miles)
Battery, Alignment, and Filters: $353.86

I tried reaching out to LA Auto Exchange for a resolution but to no avail. I tried reaching out again on May 10th 2019, but LA Auto Exchange claimed that those vehicle parts are NOT their problem. The issue is LA Auto Exchange intentionally sold me a lemon vehicle with many worn out components without warning. For example all 4 rotors of the vehicle had to be replaced because it was considered a hazard safety. Unbeknownst to me I was driving a vehicle that could have braking failure at any point.

My issue with LA Auto Exchange is their business practices and their lack of ethics. I could have had my life endanger because of those rotors. On top of that I am not sure what other mechanical issues will arise as time goes on with this vehicle.

Revdex.com, please allow justice to prevail this one time. Thank you for your time and please please feel free to reach out to me at *** or ***

Thank you.
***.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund on these repairs I made on the vehicle: - April 27th 2019, Firestone Complete Auto Care Inv#:*** (35,100 Miles) Front and Rear rotors: $666.99 - January 12th 2019, Firestone Complete Auto Care Inv# *** (32,962 Miles) Battery, Alignment, and Filters: $353.86

Sold a vehicle with no A/C and a faulty radiator. Told us that they would fix it brought it back to them 2x for repair, they turned us away.

I am writing to submit a formal complaint regarding my recent purchase of a 2014 Toyota Prius. When we got home we realized that the air conditioning was in-operable. My husband brought the car in on Friday May 25th on *** recommendation and was assured that it should be working and that it would be fixed. He spent half a day at the dealership only to be told that he needed to leave the car longer because they did not find an issue with freon levels. We are out a half a days work wasting time at the dealership only to get the answer that we needed to bring the car back afain. Also was told that it would be taken care of. My husband again returned the car on Tuesday May 29th. We were told after waiting again a half a day that it was not the a/c condenser it is likely a radiator leak. So now we are out a full days work, Two round trips from Santa Monica to Montebello only to be told by *** that we bought the car "as is" and that it would cost US $700. My husband asked them why they were not repairing a clear mechanical issue only to be told "I checked with my boss, we already lost money on the car, we are not paying for the repairs".
Dealer refused to pay for the repairs.

Desired Outcome

The dealer refused to pay repairs. I repaired the vehicle at a Toyota certified dealer and sent them the invoice. I'm asking for what I paid to repair the car to the condition it should have been in when I bought it. And the agreed to fix it over the phone twice, but when we brought the car in they sent us away and asked us to pay for the repair.

The dealer said they did not understand the invoices, I sent them again on Jun 27, 2018, at 11:43 PM, the dealer responded the next day asking for invoices. I had sent them twice. I sent them again on Jun 28, 2018, at 2:51 PM. No response. I sent a follow up again on Jul 2, 2018, at 11:59 AM, no response, I sent another follow up Jul 5, 2018, at 11:40 PM, dealer replies that he does not understand the totals, I broke it down and sent them again Sun, Jul 8, 2018 at 11:10 AM. No response. Sent another follow up Jul 9, 2018, at 12:48 PM, they have still not responded to me. I've provided ample documentation on multiple occasions. Their claim that they are waiting on information is untrue.
