La Belle Spa & Nail Salon Reviews (1)

I'm the *** here at Labelle Spa & Nails, and the day that you came was my day off so I wasn't there to oversee our employeesFirst of all, I'm very sorry that you left feeling unhappy, and when you came back on Monday, we weren’t able to offer you a solutionIt wasn't in my power to offer
you a full refund unless it was for a justifiable reasonI wanted to hear both sides of the stories; both from you, and from our nail tech also, before offering you a solutionIt was our nail tech’s fault for not informing you about the price before she started working on your nails, and it was also our fault for not cleaning up your nails properly before she let you goThat Sunday was a really busy day, and one of our nail techs took the day off, so it was even busier for usI’m not trying to give excuses, but I think it was part of the reason why she was carelessly let you go without cleaning your handsAbout not letting you wash your hands, and told you to go home and wash it, I’m not sure if you misheard herAll of our nail technicians always tell the customers that they can either wash off the oil if they want to, or they can wash it at home, as some people prefer to wash it off right away, while others prefer to let it absorb into their cuticles, and then wash if off later on when they get home. The $acrylic full set that is on our website is with the clear powder and then regular polish painted on topThat has always been our pricingOur nail tech said that the nails that you had on previously was color powder, and since I wasn’t there to ask you in details what kind of nails you wanted to get at the front desk, our nail tech asked you if you wanted your previous set of nails removed and a new set put on, and you said yesSo she went ahead and removed your previous ones, and used color powder on your new set of nailsI wasn’t there that day so it’s my fault that this kind of miscommunication happenedWhatever prices we put on our brochure are just for a set of nails, with average length, and shapes that people normally do, which are round, square, oval, and squovalThe longer you want your nails, and the more difficult the shape is, the more costly they will beShapes like stiletto, almond, and coffin are more difficult, and take longer to do, and therefore will cost moreThe base price for a set of color powder nails is $Since your nails were longer, and you wanted it to be coffin shaped, an additional $were added to the total, and also $extra for the take off of your previous set of nails, which bring the total to be $Again, it was our nail tech’s fault for not informing you clearly on the total cost of your nails before she started working on themAnd I’m very sorry that you’re unhappy with how we price our services, but it is how they are priced since we open our salonWhen you came back the next day, I looked at your nails, and stated why there are these additional costs based on just the look of your nailsOf course besides you and our nail tech, no one can know exactly what happened that day, and what you guys talked aboutBut one thing I know for sure is that you paid her $without saying anythingAt the time, if you had express how unhappy you are with your nails, and questioning the total cost of them, our nail tech would be happy to fix your nails and explain the costs in details for you. When you and your mom came in on Monday, I was overwhelmed by how angry your mom wasI wanted to offer a partial refund, and fix your nails so you can walk out of our salon feeling better, but your mom kept on demanding for a full refund and that if you don’t walk out of our salon with $in your hand, then she’d file a police report, and notify the IRS, and TDLRWhen you paid on Sunday, it was by cash, and you didn’t ask for a receipt, so how are we supposed to know that you wanted one? If you paid by either a debit or credit card, I would’ve been able to provide you with a receipt right awayNormally, when customers paid by cash, they rarely ask for a receipt, however, when they asked for one, I’d be happy to write a note saying that they paid so and so amount on the day they received the service at our salon, and have them sign itAnd since I wasn’t there that day, our nail tech would be happy to do the same had you ask for a receiptI don’t see the point in saying that you never got a receipt even though you didn’t ask for one at the timeAnd also when you came back, we didn’t deny that you had your nails done by us, and that you paid us $55.You were the one that had your nails done, and you happily paid our nail tech, so I don’t understand why you’d go back and ask for a full refund on a service that you already received, and happily paid for at the timeLooking at your nails, I admit that one of them is quite crooked, and she shaped them better on some fingers compare to the others, so I apologize for thatWe’d be happy to fix it for you, and give you a partial refund for the extra charges that our nail tech didn’t inform you aboutYou stated in your complaint that you expected to pay about $because you know there is extra cost for the removal of your previous set of nails, so I really don’t understand how you could ask for a full refund? Even though you are the one that got your nails done, and your mom wasn’t with you that day, when you guys came to our salon the next day, she was the one doing all the talking, and threatening our employees about how she would report our place to the police, and took pictures of our nail tech’s license so she can post it onlineYou were just sitting at the chair and having your mom does all the talkingShe was the one that yelled at us, and didn’t even let us offer a solution that both sides can be happy with, and kept on asking for a full refundUntil now, we still want to offer you a partial refund, but you’re insisting on getting a full refund on a service that you already received, and had no complain at the time you paid, so there is nothing that we can do or say to reverse your opinion about us, which is really a shame
