Review: I was billed $144 by La Carbonara on Saturday, December **, 2015. I was part of a large party and they told us that several of our cards (mine included) were not being charged due to their only swiping seven cards. Having never received a receipt, I let my fellow party members sign their receipts and left. I have since been charged for the previously mentioned amount despite never being notified of this charge, let alone being notified of it.Desired Settlement: I want this billing situation and my money refunded.

Review: On September **, 2014, I brought a party of 16 (12 elderly and 4 children) to this resturant for lunch. We had just buried my father. I had discussed with [redacted], the [redacted], the previous night that I would be bringing this group in. The lunch rate is 8.95 per person.When we arrived, at 2pm, [redacted] tells me his [redacted] has decided that we will be charged 15.95, the dinner rate. We arrived at 2pm...well within the lunch hour time frame. I objected to this. [redacted] stated it was out of his hands. By then my party had seated. His [redacted] was not present. Basically, I was not in a mood to dispute, nor could I transport 16 people to another location. The 4 children ate plain bowls of penne paste...we were charged 15.95...they also consumed 6 glasses of milk, they were charge 9.00 per glass of milk. [redacted] states 4.50. The food we received was served in lunch portion size, as opposed to the dinner portions we should have received. We were served 4 pitchers of soda and had to constantly ask for bread to be brought to the table. We waited almost an hour for food to be brought out. [redacted] told me he had to bring in an extra cook to provide...and that he had to make up for the budget spent. It is not of my opinion that I should have to pay for his day labor. In addition, there was absolutely no one in the resteraunt when we arrived...at 2pm. We were charged 495.39 for 16 people. That comes out to approximately 30.96 per person with tax and gratuity included. He was not polite to me when I called him to discuss this...and he even hung up on me, accusing me of wanting a free lunch. As I stated, we had just buried my father and was looking for a place to try to wind down and celebrate my father's life. We have lived in that neighborhood since 1969, and did not expect to be taken advantage of as we were. By the time stamp on my receipt, we left his resteraunt at 355pm. Before the dinner rates were even in effect. When we left, there were 8 people in the resteraunt.Desired Settlement: Considering the 8.95 per person lunch rat comes out to 143.20...add on beverages, desserts and gratuity, a fair price of 275-300 would be in order. I am willing to pay that price and call it a learning experience. He was very rude to me over the phone, even hanging up, accusing me of wanting a free lunch. The firthest thing from my mind. My fathers funeral, mass and burial went without a hitch. This is the only black eye and sour moment we can associate with oue sorrowful day.

Review: I left the restaurant having signed for a $48 transaction. By the time I got home, I had the $48 charge, then a further $10 charge that I had not authorized. I called the restaurant to ask about the charge. A man whose name was "None of your business" informed me that he did what he was supposed to do and there was nothing I could do about it. He told me to call my bank if I had a problem. I told him I did. He told me I shouldn't come back to the restaurant. I won't.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $58.
