Review: on 3/18/2013 my daughter in law signed a contract for 40 chairs for her and my sons wedding the amount of $126.00 were for the chairs and on the contract included pick up and delivery on several weeks prior to the wedding a [redacted] called and said she forgot to charge for delivery and pick up and needed and there would be an exta charge for them to deliver and pick up I am the father of the groom and offered to pick up and deliver the chairs back I also as part of the wedding paid for the chairs [redacted] was not willing to compromise on her mistake and come to a reasonal agreement When I brought the chairs back she billed me $42.50 for the chairs being damp. I recently recieved that bill I do not think la crosse tent and awning was fair with us [redacted] has over 4 months to let us aware of her mistake. When I picked up the chairs she assured me there would be no more cost . I should not have to pay for the vinyl chairs that were dampDesired Settlement: retract bill of 42.50 for damp chairs

I am writing to you in regard to an email that I received from you.

When people call for rentals and they do not rent a tent (free delivery with a tent

rental in the La Crosse area) they are told there is a delivery fee. That delivery fee is

on our website and is $45.00 to deliver and $45.00 to pick up Monday thru Friday.

My employee actually caught the error on the contract and called them about it and

they said " they would pick them up."

My employee said she told them there was a delivery fee when they called and they

were told the cost however when she made out the contract and sent it to them the

delivery fee was not on there. The reason the contracts are mailed out or emailed

out are so the customer can see what they are renting. If they received a contract

and there was no delivery charge on it and they were told there was one they should

have called us and said we want the chairs delivered . They should not have

assumed that because it wasn't listed on there that they were getting it for free. If

we do give away items on our contracts it's usually listed as a "donation" or a

"discount". None of that was on the contract that they signed. When they returned it

back to us we assumed they did not want the delivery and pick up service we offer

for a fee.

The chairs are supposed to be returned in the same condition that they received

them and they were not. They were returned wet and dirty. Mr. [redacted] demanded a

bill in his name at the front counter because he said "he didn't want the kids to get

the bill for cleaning." The customer said if we would send them a bill for the cleaning

he threatened us by saying "there would be repercussions."

I gave them one day extra of rent at NO CHARGE and I gave them a "free appetizer

card" from the Outback Steak House on us.

This place is awful! Took them months to send a refund check back. We received chairs for a wedding and they were super dirty and broken. Horrible quality. The owner hung up on us multiple times and told us she didn't care is we reported them. Their facility is so dirty and unorganized. The product we received was nothing like the product I saw and thought I was renting. Complete waste of money and the worst customer service I have ever seen!

Be very careful when using this company to do any work on your canvas tent. Not only are their estimates not followed up once given but you may be charged double for something that should one half of the amount you pay. I ask them to put a simple stove pipe on a tent and I believe it was the first time they had done this.
