This complaint relates to a prior complaint that was closed without resolutionThe initial complaint is: Re: ID # ***- L.ADumke & AssociatesAs you will read in my initial complaint, I had been attempting to resolve an IRS issue stemming from Larry Dumke's lack of attention to the timely filing of my taxesI tried to work with Larry for several months, but his correspondence was infrequent and he stopped responding to me altogether during late November and December of I received a letter from the IRS notifying me of their intent to seize property during the month of December I needed to resolve the matter and did so by paying the fine as Larry was not responding at all , I sent a final e-mail to Larry on 12/16/asking that he refund the tax preparation fee of $Again, I received no responseLarry did not attempt to contact me at all until 1/13/17, after I filed my initial complaint with the Revdex.comWhen Larry responded, he claimed that the IRS was requiring that I sign a Power of Attorney in order for him to assist meI had been attempting to resolve this issue for several months and Larry had never mentioned that a Power of Attorney was required until after I had paid the fine and filed my complaint with the Revdex.comI feel it would be completely irresponsible of me to sign Power of Attorney over to a person who has already provided poor service and demonstrated his disinterest in resolving the matter by way of his lack of communicationI asked that Larry refund my $tax preparation fee in the e-mail sent directly to him on 12/16/16, and I asked that that be the resolution in my initial complaint to the Revdex.comI do not consider signing Power of Attorney over to Larry to be an option for resolutionI provided all documents, information, and payments to Larry in a timely manner and received a fine as a result of his poor serviceI have spent a considerable amount of time and aggravation trying to get Larry to stand behind his work and he refusedI do not wish to appeal this fine furtherI want to move onI would like Larry to return my $tax preparation fee I would like my tax preparation fee of $returned
